mercoledì 19 dicembre, alle 19.30, nella suggestiva cornice della Chiesa del Santo Sepolcro di Cagliari, è stato organizzato un prezioso ed imperdibile appuntamento, con uno dei capolavori assoluti della letteratura sacra ottocentesca: la Petite Messe solennelle per soli, coro due pianoforti e harmonium di Gioachino Rossini (Pesaro, 1792 – Parigi, 1868), nell’esecuzione del Coro del Teatro Lirico, diretto da Marco Faelli. I ruoli solistici sono affidati al soprano Graziella Ortu, al mezzosoprano Irene Macutan, al tenore Oscar Piras ed al basso Alessandro Frabotta; l’accompagnamento musicale, invece, è affidato ad Andrea Mudu e Francesca Pittau (pianoforti) ed a Gaetano Mastroiaco (harmonium).

L’ingresso alla manifestazione, della durata di un’ora e trenta minuti circa, è libero.

Wednesday, December 19, at 19.30, in the picturesque setting of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of Cagliari, was organized a precious and not to be missed appointment with one of the greatest masterpieces of sacred literature of the nineteenth century: the Petite Messe solennelle for soloists, chorus two pianos and harmonium of Gioachino Rossini (Pesaro, 1792 – Paris, 1868), the execution of the Chorus of the Opera, directed by Marco Faelli. The solos are entrusted to the soprano Graziella Ortu, mezzo-soprano Irene Macutan, tenor and bass Alessandro Piras Oscar Frabotta, the musical accompaniment, however, is given to Andrea and Francesca Mudu Pittau (piano) and Gaetano Mastroiaco (harmonium) .

Entrance to the exhibition, which lasts an hour and thirty minutes, is free.
