I giovedì d’estate, dal tramonto sino alle 24.00 Cagliari apre le sue porte e vi aspetta per farvi vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile e sentire subito a vostro agio.

Passeggiare tra le vie animate del centro e fare shopping, stupirvi di fronte alla maestosità delle statue di mont’e prama, scoprire suggestivi itinerari, visitare i musei civici, i centri culturali.

Senza dimenticare un aperitivo o  assaggiare qualche specialità in uno dei tanti ristoranti del marina e del centro storico.

E’ come un assaggio, per far nascere il desiderio di tornare.

La Cagliari Azzurra. Tra terra e mare alla ricerca della nostra identità

Descrizione del percorso
Un volo di gabbiani, una barca all’orizzonte… mare è per definizione sinonimo di libertà, di avventura, di viaggio verso l’ignoto. Il bellissimo azzurro del nostro mare è allo stesso tempo la barriera naturale che, separandoci dal resto del mondo, ci ha permesso di sviluppare la nostra particolare identità, senza eccessivi condizionamenti esterni e il punto d’incontro e di scambio con le grandi civiltà del Mediterraneo, che nei secoli si sono stabilizzate sulle nostre coste alimentando una fitta rete di scambi commerciali e non.
Il percorso è una passeggiata nel porto di Cagliari che ripercorre la storia delle culture, dei commerci, delle popolazioni che vi si sono avvicendate nei secoli, passando per la nuova passeggiata di Su Siccu recentemente inaugurata.

Nel segno del sacro, tour tra chiese scomparse e storie cristiane.

Descrizione del percorso
L’itinerario ha l’obiettivo di svelare a grandi e piccini, la storia di numerose chiese scomparse e l’ubicazione di tesori sepolti: cripte, sotterranei, ruderi.
Tra storie e leggende, si partirà al calar del sole dalla centralissima piazza Matteotti per illustrare la storia di Cagliari, le sue numerose chiese che sorgevano, un tempo, dentro le mura dei quartieri storici.
Lungo un tragitto che si snoderà tra edifici e monumenti, verrà illustrata la storia del Palazzo Comunale di via Roma, sede di rappresentanza dell’amministrazione civica.
Con le guide turistiche di Sardegna Sotterranea, dall’esterno, racconteremo l’architettura e i segreti del Palazzo Accardo: sorge infatti sulla vecchia Chiesa di Sant’Agostino, celebre “Dottore della Chiesa” e Vescovo di Ippona.
Il trekking urbano raggiungerà i resti della Chiesa di Santa Lucia nel quartiere Marina.
Poi, risalendo le strette viuzze, farà tappa in piazza Santo Sepolcro: verrà illustrata la storia della locale Chiesa e delle arciconfraternite di Cagliari. Da qui, le guide, condurranno i partecipanti nel cuore della storia e illustreranno le vicende del Vecchio Spedale di Sant’Antonio (oggi Ostello della Gioventù).
Ancora: storia di una chiesa scomparsa di San Giorgio e Santa Caterina, edificio sul quale è sorta, nel dopoguerra, la sede della vecchia Upim. Superata “Sa Costa”, la via Manno, verrà rievocata la storia di una misteriosa chiesa scomparsa nella parte più elevata del Bastione di Saint Remy.
Il senso delle epigrafi e dei cippi sepolcrali verrà illuminato con la citazione di storie e leggende per poi raggiungere, dal Castello, piazza Yenne.
L’esistenza del Convento di San Francesco di Stampace, in parte inglobato da moderni locali commerciali, lungo il Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Poi rientro nel punto di partenza.

Tra cielo e terra

Descrizione del percorso
Castello è il principale dei quattro quartieri storici di Cagliari. La sua posizione preminente lo pone, appunto, tra cielo e terra. Furono i pisani a scegliere quest’area per fondare il loro fortino in seguito all’assedio dell’antica capitale giudicale Santa Igia. Essi rafforzarono l’avamposto con la costruzione di torri e mura, oggi perfettamente visibili nel complesso. In seguito furono prima gli aragonesi e successivamente i piemontesi a potenziare i bastioni e a costruire l’arsenale e i terrapieni. Risalgono alla fase pisana le torri di San Pancrazio e dell’Elefante, mirabili esempi di architettura difensiva di epoca medievale. Le vie d’accesso alla rocca sono tre: due ascensori, collegati uno a metà del viale Regina Elena e l’altro a lato del bastione Saint-Remy; la porta del Leone alla fine di via Mazzini; il bastione di Saint-Remy per via del Fossario. Qualunque sia la scelta, diversi sono i monumenti, le chiese, i palazzi che si incontrano lungo il percorso e che meritano di essere visti.

Tappe del Gusto nei quartieri storici

Il tour culturale proposto prenderà avvio dalla Villa di Tigellio, proseguendo alla scoperta del quartiere di Stampace, storicamente abitato prevalentemente da mercanti, artigiani e piccolo borghesi, sino a perdere gradualmente questa caratterizzazione con l’avvicinarsi dell’epoca contemporanea. Costeggiando l’Ospedale Militare e la Chiesa di Sant’Anna, si arriverà alla Cripta di Santa Restituta per una coinvolgente visita guidata.

MARIA LAI – RICUCIRE IL MONDO (Palazzo di Città)

L’occasione dell’aperitivo nasce dalla recente inaugurazione della mostra Maria Lai. Ricucire il mondo. La grande mostra, volta a ricostruire la vicenda creativa di una delle figure femminili più affascinanti della storia dell’arte italiana del Novecento, propone un percorso cronologico e tematico strutturato in tre diverse sedi: Il Palazzo di Città di Cagliari, il Museo MAN di Nuoro, il paese di Ulassai. A Cagliari sono esposte opere dai primi anni Quaranta alla metà degli anni Ottanta del Novecento, un percorso coinvolgente che si conclude con l‘omaggio all’artista ideato da Antonio Marras e Claudia Losi.

La visita guidata alla mostra sarà preceduta e conclusa dalla degustazione di prodotti tipici, suggeriti dall’arte e dalla biografia dell’artista, come i pani e i dolci delle feste che hanno ispirato alcune delle sue creazioni, accompagnati da vini di una nota cantina isolana.

Between heaven and earth

Description of way
Castello is the largest of the four historic districts of Cagliari. Its prominent position places him, in fact, between heaven and earth. MARIA LAI – mend the WORLD (Town Hall)

The aperitivo was born from the recent opening of the exhibition Maria Lai. Mend the world. The exhibition, which aims to reconstruct the story of a creative of the most fascinating female figures in the history of Italian art of the twentieth century, offers a chronological and thematic structured in three different venues: The Palace of the City of Cagliari, the MAN Museum in Nuoro , the country Ulassai. In Cagliari there are works from the early forties to the mid-eighties of the twentieth century, a fascinating journey that ends with a tribute to the artist conceived by Antonio Marras and Claudia Losi.
