Domenica 31 marzo a Monserrato il Progetto MOMOTI promuove
La Giornata della Pace: un fitto cartellone interculturale di eventi, tra mostre, spettacoli e laboratori, per ricordare il raid aereo sulla città avvenuto nel 1943.

Domenica 31 marzo Monserrato celebra il settantesimo anniversario dei bombardamenti che la semidistrussero e provocarono la morte e il ferimento di decine di civili. In occasione della ricorrenza, che quest’anno coincide con la festività della Pasqua, in sintonia con il clima di fratellanza e di solidarietà ispirato dalla festività religiosa, il Progetto MOMOTI: un teatro, un burattino e la città , con il patrocinio del Comune di Monserrato, promuove nella cittadina dell’hinterland cagliaritano la Giornata della Pace: un’intera serata, in programma dalle 16 alle 20.30, con performance, mostre, laboratori dislocati lungo tutta la via 31 marzo 1943, sede oggi del Teatro MoMoTI gestito da Is Mascareddas. Un’occasione per non dimenticare e per riunire in un luogo così significativo per la comunità di Monserrato, come la via intitolata alla data dei bombardamenti, gli abitanti, i gruppi e le associazioni locali.

Il ricco cartellone della Giornata della Pace è un mosaico di eventi all’insegna del dialogo interculturale, uno degli obiettivi che si propone il progetto realizzato dalla Compagnia Is Mascareddas, Arcoiris Onlus e Larus Onlus, con il sostegno della Fondazione CON IL SUD. La manifestazione è impreziosita da due iniziative speciali: la presenza internazionale della Fundaciòn Museo de la Paz de Gernika con la mostra “Bombardeo de Gernika”- racconto per immagini e testi del primo sanguinoso raid aereo su una città europea, Gernika (denominazione in lingua euskara di Guernica), avvenuto il 26 aprile 1937 – e la proiezione (alle 20.10, al MoMoTI), con la partecipazione del regista Giovanni Columbu, di alcune scene di “Su Re”, film sugli ultimi giorni di vita di Gesù secondo la lettura dei Vangeli canonici, fresco di uscita nelle sale italiane.

La Giornata della Pace prende il via alle 16, con l’arrivo in via 31 marzo 1943 della Banda Musicale della città di Monserrato. Alle 16.30, al MoMoTI (in via 31 marzo 1943 n. 20), si inaugura l’esposizione “Bombardeo de Gernika”: venti pannelli in basco, castigliano, inglese e francese, che documentano quello che è passato alla storia come un test di guerra realizzato dalla Legione Condor tedesca, con l’ausilio dell’Aeronautica Militare italiana e dell’esercito franchista. La mostra effettua una ricognizione sulla storia della cittadina basca dagli anni ’30, prima dei bombardamenti, alla Guerra Civile, dalla dittatura del generale Franco al lungo processo di “riconciliazione” col popolo tedesco, avviato solo nel 1997, con l’ammissione da parte della Germania della sua partecipazione al raid e perfezionato col gemellaggio tra Gernika e la città tedesca di Pforzheim. Al taglio del nastro sono stati invitati gli europarlamentari sardi Francesca Barracciu e Giommaria Uggias, in rappresentanza dell’Unione Europea, vincitrice del Premio Nobel per la pace 2012, il Sindaco di Monserrato Giovanni Argiolas, il Sindaco di Gernika Jose Maria Corrono, per Is Mascareddas, capofila del Progetto MOMOTI, il presidente della compagnia Tonino Murru. Alle varie iniziative sono state invitate le delegazioni delle due “città per la pace”, gemellate con Monserrato: Qabatia, in Cisgiordania, Saint Louis, in Senegal.

Il programma prosegue, fino alle 20.30, all’aperto, negli incroci di tutta la via 31 marzo 1943, presso il Teatro MoMoTI (al civico 20), il cortile di Casa Foddis (al civico 26), il Laboratorio Il Tempo e Lo Spazio (al civico 42), il cortile del Ristorante Taverna 1860 (nella vicina via Tito 56) e la sala ubicata nel civico 29.
Dalle 17 alle 19 la strada è animata dai trampolieri “Fenistruzzi”, parata eseguita da Mirko Ariu e Antonio Iavarone della Ditta Vigliacci, dalla musica tribale dei senegalesi Guney Africa, dai numeri di giocoleria ed abilità di Pietro Olla, alias Prof. Pietrosky e dalle coreografie eseguite da alcuni danzatori della comunità rom di Monserrato. Al Laboratorio Il Tempo e lo Spazio in programma “Aerei di pace”, mini corso di costruzione con carta condotto dei clown dottori di Larus Onlus. Sulla facciata del civico 29, alcuni giovani di varie nazionalità sono chiamati alla realizzazione del “Murales della Pace”, a cura del pittore Giorgio Polo. Spazio anche al disegnatore – ritrattista Luigi Zara, situato di fronte al teatro MoMoTI, e a “Riciclare per la pace”, mostra di oggetti d’arte costruiti con materiali di recupero dall’operatore didattico keniota Augustine Namatsi Okubo. Nel cortile di Casa Foddis è allestita “Porrajmos: l’altro genocidio. La deportazione del popolo zingaro durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale”, mostra dell’Associazione Entulas in collaborazione con la Federación de Asociaciones Gitanas de Cataluña (FAGiC). Nel cortile del Ristorante Taverna 1860 si possono ascoltare le musiche popolari ucraine eseguite, al piano e al violino, da Rostyslav Prachun e Liliana Prachun.

Dalle 18.30 alle 20.30 il calendario degli spettacoli all’aperto prosegue con le marionette di Agostino Cacciabue e Rita Xaxa, della compagnia Teatro Tages, in scena con “Manovella Circus”. Nella stessa fascia oraria si esibiscono il Gruppo di Cultura Popolare di Monserrato, Mykola Tokarchuk, Roman Tokarchuk e Nataliya Sviata in “Canti popolari ucraini”, il narratore Gerardo Ferrara accompagnato alla chitarra e all’armonica da Anthony Medas e alle percussioni da Antero Dessì, nel reading “L’isola che c’è”.

In contemporanea, dalle 17.30 alle 18, nella sala del civico 29 sono in programma due spettacoli di narrazione. Il primo (alle 17.30), della compagnia di Torino Marco Gobetti / Centro studi Piero Gobetti, è “Emilio Lussu e la guerra”, lezione recitata incentra sul romanzo “Un anno sull’Altipiano” dell’insigne uomo politico sardo. Il successivo (alle 18) è “Lo sgabello di ferro”, breve racconto sui bombardamenti in Sardegna durante la seconda guerra mondiale, proposto da Betti Pau in una produzione Is Mascareddas.

Al MoMoTI, dalle 18.30 alle 20.10, si declinano tutte le forme d’arte in una non stop di appuntamenti tra teatro, musica, poesia, fotografia, danza e cinema. Alle 18.30 è di scena Pierpaolo Piludu, della compagnia cagliaritana Cada Die Teatro, con “Famiglia Puddu”. La piéce racconta una delle giornate più tristi per Cagliari e per la sua storia: il bombardamento nel 1943 dei B17, le “fortezze volanti” americane, e la distruzione di interi quartieri della città. La guerra è vista attraverso gli occhi di un bambino. Un bimbo down che ha la sfortuna di avere un padre estremamente ignorante. Alle 19 è in programma “Tramonti di guerra”, un intervento del poeta Alberto Lecca accompagnato dalla proiezione di una sequenza di immagini storiche composta dal fotografo Priamo Tolu. Di seguito, alle 19.30, un concerto di musica da camera dell’Ensemble Spaziomusica, formato dal flautista Enrico Di Felice e dal pianista Riccardo Leone. E ancora, spazio (alle 19.50) alla danza contemporanea con Ornella D’Agostino, di Carovana SMI, in scena con un estratto da “La Ballata dell’Errore”, produzione liberamente tratta dalla cantata “L’Eroe” della cantautrice ed etnomusicologa Giovanna Marini. La regia della performance è firmata dall’interprete, la direzione musicale è di Antonella Talamonti, i video che accompagnano le coreografie sono realizzati da Tommaso D’Elia.

Il MoMoTI saluta il pubblico della Giornata della Pace ospitando l’intervento del regista nuorese Giovanni Columbu e la proiezione, alle 20.10, di alcune sequenze del suo secondo lungometraggio “Su Re” (2012, 80′). Prodotto da Luches Film, in collaborazione con la Pontificia Facoltà Teologica della Sardegna e Rai Cinema, il film sbarca nelle sale italiane con la Sacher Distribuzione. “Su Re”, recitato in lingua sarda, è girato nel suggestivo e aspro scenario del Monte Corrasi, ad Oliena, ed è interpretato da un cast di attori isolani: Fiorenzo Mattu, Pietrina Menneas, Tonino Murgia, Paolo Pillonca, Antonio Forma, Luca Todde, Giovanni Frau e Bruno Petretto.

Quasi in contemporanea, alle 20.30, arrivano in via 31 marzo 1943 le macchine teatrali e le animazioni dei sassaresi Theatre En Vol, in scena con un estratto da “Gernika: azione teatrale in quattro movimenti”, suggestioni sceniche legate alla nascita della celebre opera di Picasso “Guernica”.

Nel corso della serata (previo ritiro ticket presso lo stand dell’Associazione Arcoiris Onlus), è possibile degustare presso il Ristorante Taverna 1860 il “Piatto della pace del Mediterraneo”, un cous cous preparato per l’occasione da un gruppo di cuoche di nazionalità marocchina.

Peace Day kicks off at 16, with the arrival by March 31, 1943 of the band of the city of Montserrat. From 18.30 to 20.30 a calendar of outdoor events continues with the puppets of Augustine and Rita Cacciabue Xaxa, the company Tages Theatre, on stage with “Crank Circus”. In the same time performing the Group of Popular Culture of Montserrat, Mykola Tokarchuk, Roman Tokarchuk and Nataliya diverted in “Ukrainian Folk Songs”, the narrator Gerardo Ferrara accompanied on the guitar and harmonica and percussion by Anthony Medas by Antero Dessì in reading “The island is.”
