La fusion dei Koka Loka (i fratelli Yasser e Yamir Robinson Bridge e Angel Torres Callar) è un mix di ritmi caraibici basato su kisomba, reggueatòn, calypso, merengue, per performance divertenti, spesso addirittura comiche, che si avvicinano al teatro vernacolare. Nelle loro canzoni, le questioni calde della società cubana. Timbri e strumenti come l’organo orientale e i versi di animali e suoni naturali mantengono il contatto forte con la tradizione, per uno stile musicale unico e ricercato.
