Raccontare la nostra Italia dal 1940 ai giorni nostri attraverso il simbolo del matrimonio: la sposa, la madre, la nonna, la zia e l’amica che in un vorticoso gioco equilibristico e di trasformismo (le attrici si cambiano di ruolo nei vari decenni di secolo)raccontano i loro stati d’animo, le loro pulsioni amorose e la voglia di cambiare.

Nel 1942 in Italia ci si sposa per procura: a Roma, a Milano, a Venezia grappoli bianchi di spose al braccio di gerarchi in pompa magna percorrono le navate della chiesa tra ali di folla, al suono dei violini, mentre i mariti sono al fronte a combattere una guerra che dura già due anni. I matrimoni per procura hanno grande risonanza propagandistica ed esaltano il patriottismo delle coppie che realizzano il loro sogno “senza nulla togliere” alla patria in armi. Finita la guerra si ritornerà’ ad esaltare il matrimonio con tutti i fasti della cerimonia. Nel 1960 i primi movimenti sociali in favore della parità’ dei sessi concede alla donna di sposarsi coi pantaloni. A partire dagli anni 80 ci si sposa soprattutto in comune con il rito civile e nel frattempo la televisione incastra le donne al rito delle straordinarie “Telenovelas” . E adesso, come consideriamo il matrimonio … ora le nuove tecnologie avanzano e ci si illude che la televisione possa rappresentare la realtà? Raccontare la nostra Italia dal 1940 ai giorni nostri attraverso la concezione del matrimonio e le parole di una sposa, una madre, una nonna, una zia e un’ amica che in un vorticoso gioco equilibristico e di trasformismo raccontano i loro stati d’animo , le loro pulsioni amorose e la voglia di cambiare.

Tell our Italy from 1940 to the present day through the symbol of marriage: the wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend in a dizzying game equilibristico and transformation (the actresses change their role in the various decades of century) tell their moods, their amorous impulses and the desire to change.

In 1942, in Italy we get married by proxy in Rome, Milan, Venice clusters of white brides on the arm of hierarchs in full regalia walk the aisles of the church among crowds of people, the sound of violins, while their husbands are at the front to fight a war that has lasted two years. Marriages by proxy have great resonance propaganda and exalt the patriotism of couples realize their dream “without detracting from” the homeland in arms. After the war it will return ‘to enhance the marriage with all the pomp of the ceremony. In 1960 the first social movements for equality ‘of the sexes allows the woman to marry with pants. Since the 80’s we get married especially in common with the civil ceremony and in the meantime the television fits women to the extraordinary rite “Soaps”. And now, as we hold the wedding … now the new technologies advance and there is an illusion that television can represent reality? Tell our Italy from 1940 to the present day through the concept of marriage and the words of a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt and a ‘friend in a dizzying game equilibristico transformation and tell their moods, their amorous impulses and the desire to change.
