It’s called your my last breath?

Claudio Serughetti, young and versatile director (it is also a painter and musician) invites you to consider the use of murder as a form of punishment was to be just and fair from 43 countries of which the majority (36) are governed by dictatorships or illiberal regimes . It does this in collaboration with Hands Off Cain (the organization of the Radical Party, whose main goal is the implementation of a universal moratorium on the death penalty and, more generally, the fight against torture) and through the testimony of intellectuals, artists , religious working on this front by Peter Gabriel Bernardo Bertolucci, Dario Fo by Marco Bellocchio to Adolfo Pérez Esquivel.

This documentary is intended to be useful tool for understanding the events that led to the global movement in favor of ‘abolition of the death penalty and compendium of the political message and humanitarian different personalities from the world of culture and society.
The film, through interviews and data, wants to consider the use of the death penalty as a form of punishment to be just and fair for many countries in the world.
Although for many years the abolitionist process should seem unstoppable, also certified the moratorium in 2007, executions continue.
The so-called “belly” of public opinion, occurrence of historical events or sensational news stories, clamoring for the exemplary punishment: in a word, the gallows.
Hence the urgency to be on an event of universal significance.
The film has three main objectives:

ANALYZE – the futility, the anti-historicity, the uneconomic, the incivility of the death penalty
in the world, do not forget to also show the instinctive reactions of the so-called people
common.
EXCITE (if possible) – showing, if possible disgusting, with
the use of archival materials and footage, human beings with their “last breath.”
