Dopo il successo dello scorso anno gli Home Brewers Sardi, associazione senza scopo di lucro dedita alla diffusione dell’homebrewing e della cultura birraria, tornano alla ribalta con una edizione di Isolabirra rinnovata e la cui parola d’ordine è solo una: qualità a tutto campo. Tra i birrifici presenti, infatti, potrete trovare le migliori realtà in campo nazionale e i produttori regionali più dinamici. Oltre 20 le birre presenti, con stili che vi faranno viaggiare dal Belgio agli U.S.A. Sabato 21 Giugno 2014 si terrà la terza edizione di “ISOLABIRRA”, l’evento dedicato alle birre artigianali all’insegna della qualità. La manifestazione, organizzata dagli HomeBrewers Sardi, si ripropone per il terzo anno consecutivo con molte conferme e alcune novità: innanzitutto i birrifici e i birrai ospiti, tra i quali 4 sardi (birrificio di Domusnovas, birrificio Marduk, birrificio Mezzavia e P3 Brewing) 3 da oltre Tirreno (Birra Amiata, Birrificio del Ducato, ELAV) e uno proveniente dal Belgio (il birrificio La Rulles) che serviranno oltre 20 tipologie di birra nel grande pub all’aperto di via Gramsci, al centro di Gonnesa, dalle ore 18 fino tarda notte; la ristorazione del territorio, con 2 ristoranti (la Piedra del Sol e S’Anninnia) che proporranno una cucina di qualità; la musica dal vivo, ad allietare la serata; i laboratori di degustazione, condotti dal giudice internazionale Gianriccardo Corbo e infine il concorso homebrewing, inserito anche quest’anno nel campionato italiano organizzato dal portale hobbybirra.info. Nel quadro della manifestazione, infine, oltre al tradizionale meeting tra produttori casalinghi (un appuntamento irrinunciabile per tutti gli appassionati di homebrewing) troverà spazio un evento nell’evento dedicato agli addetti ai lavori: un corso di servizio e spillatura birra tenuto da Manuele Colonna, publican romano.
Ad accompagnare le produzioni birrarie ci saranno le proposte culinarie dei ristoratori di Gonnesa (Piedra del Sol, Sa Panara, S’anninnia), perchè ad Isolabirra la birra di qualità si sposa con la cucina di qualità.
Tutte le birre e il cibo proposto ad Isolabirra saranno acquistabili grazie ai gettoni della manifestazione, disponibili presso la cassa centrale, dove potrete trovare anche un kit di degustazione composto da sacchetta e calice da degustazione. E se non volete prendere la vostra macchina per arrivare a Gonnesa potete usufruire del servizio di Ajò in pullman, che vi porterà ad Isolabirra senza fretta e in tutta sicurezza.

I Laboratori
La partecipazione ai laboratori sarà possibile solo su prenotazione. Le degustazioni saranno guidate da Gianriccardo Corbo, diplomato BJCP e giudice in competizioni nazionali ed internazionali, che vi aiuterà a scoprire gli aromi e i sapori delle birre proposte (4 per ogni laboratorio).
In questa edizione saranno sviscerati due argomenti:
- Gli stili dimenticati (I birrai italiani alle prese con stili birrari in via di estinzione o di riscoperta)
- Gli stili moderni (I birrai italiani alle prese con le birre più moderne).
Le birre, come da regolamento, possono essere spedite anticipatamente oppure portate di persona a Gonnesa il 21 giugno, con accettazione aperta tra le ore 9.00 e le ore 9.45.

Saturday, June 21, 2014 will be held the third edition of “ISOLABIRRA”, the event dedicated to craft beers on quality. The event, organized by homebrewers Sardis, it advocates for the third consecutive year, with many confirmations and some novelties: first of all the breweries and brewers guests, including 4 Sardinians (Domusnovas brewery, brewery Marduk, brewery Brewing Mezzavia and P3) from 3 over the Tyrrhenian Sea (Birra Amiata, Brewery of the Duchy, ELAV) and one from Belgium (the brewery The Rulles) that will serve more than 20 types of beer in the great outdoor pub Via Gramsci, in the center of Gonnesa, from 18 hours up late night; the restoration of the area, with 2 restaurants (la Piedra del Sol and S’anninnia) that will offer quality cuisine; live music, to cheer the night; the tasting workshops, conducted by an international judge Gianriccardo Corbo and finally the homebrewing competition, also included this year in the championship organized by the Italian portal hobbybirra.info. A Gonnesa homebrewers will find what they’re looking for ! To them it is dedicated to the third edition of concorsoIsolabirra , inserted for the second consecutive year in the national championship organized by the portal Hobbybirra homebrewing . The homemade beer seasoned producers will have the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and recipes, and to test their products to a panel of international level, made up of tasters, sensory experts and professional brewers . A unique opportunity to test their skills , receive feedback and advice to improve.
The homebrewing is the art of making beer at home , starting with the primary ingredients and processes similar to those used by professionals . Many of the brewers who are now professionals have begun many years ago by producing beer in the house with pots and wooden spoons , approximate temperature control instruments , plastic fermenters and by twenty liters of beer at a time.
Today, fans of the domestic production are plenty all over Italy, and their competence and preparation is constantly growing . The competition for homebrewers of Isolabirra , the first organized in Sardinia , is a time of growth and comparison of household producers , who can submit their beers to a jury of international experts and professional producers , resulting in a feedback essential to ensure that the passion will evolve towards technically better and better results .
The contest, open to all homebrewers Italian , will be held June 21 ( Saturday morning) starting at 10.00 am, when the jury will begin the evaluation work .
