Sabato 31 Maggio e domenica 1 giugno 2014 alle ore 21.00 al Teatro Alkestis di Cagliari (via Loru 31) debutterà la nuova co-produzione firmata Teatro Laboratorio Alkestis Centro di Ricerca e Sperimentazione e Compagnia d’Arte Circo Calumet.

Lo spettacolo, diretto da Andrea Meloni, vedrà in scena lo stesso Meloni e l’attrice Sabrina Mascia. I video e la tecnica audio/luci saranno curati da Matteo Zanda.

Siamo reduci di un disastro. Siamo causa e vittima di danni irreversibili o recuperabili solo a lungo termine. Contenti ricominciamo dal naufragio, come ipotesi di una partenza, come luogo appartato e di apertura, come tempo di meditazione, di ricostruzione di un viaggio. Ritorniamo con timida gioia alla flebile luce. Siamo un uomo e una donna. Veniamo da un buio profondo e resinoso. Siamo in due, ma non vogliamo restare soli. Ci spostiamo leggeri con un carico di libri. Certi testi hanno attraversato il fuoco, altri gli abissi. Leggiamo pagine come carte nautiche. La lettura ci brucia gli occhi. Leggiamo perché non sappiamo più parlare, né formulare pensieri. Siamo reduci di un disastro. Contenti ricominciamo dal naufragio. Questo è il nostro messaggio.

We are survivors of a disaster. We cause and victim of irreversible damage or recoverable only in the long term . Glad we start from the wreck , as a hypothesis of a departure, as secluded and openness, as a time of meditation , the reconstruction of a journey. We return with joy to the shy feeble light . We are a man and a woman. We come from a deep dark and resinous . We are two, but do not want to be alone. We travel with a lighter load of books. Some texts have gone through the fire , others the abyss . We read pages like charts. Reading it burns my eyes . We read because we can no longer speak or formulate thoughts. We are survivors of a disaster. Glad we start from the wreck . This is our message.
