Torna a Monserrato il Grande Teatro dei Piccoli, alla sua decima edizione ospitata al MoMoTI. Dal 18 ottobre al 29 dicembre per la stagione teatrale targata Is Mascareddas in scena per i bambini e le famiglie, nel teatro di via 31 marzo 1943, otto spettacoli, in un cartellone che ha come perle la presenza del marionettista catalano Toni Zafra e della compagnia Laborincolo da Perugia, col nuovo spettacolo firmato da un fuoriclasse del teatro d’animazione italiano: il drammaturgo e burattinaio Gigio Brunello. Un cartellone dove ancora spicca la qualità delle proposte, messo in piedi nonostante il durissimo momento di crisi economica che sta colpendo l’intero settore dello spettacolo dal vivo.

L’apertura della stagione teatrale targata Is Mascareddas è, sabato 18 e domenica 19 ottobre (e lunedì 20 per le scuole), con uno degli interpreti più virtuosi della marionettistica catalana, Toni Zafra, in duo con l’attrice sassarese Nadia Imperio nello spettacolo “Qvántum – il circo delle marionette”: numeri musicali e parlati in cui gli animatori manipolano a vista delle marionette a filo come delle “piccole creature quasi fatte di pasta umana”,  alternando momenti di poesia e comicità. Un microcosmo circense con Lilit che cammina sulla corda, Dun-Dun, l’uomo proiettile, Manolita Bocanegra, campionessa di sollevamento pesi, e molti altri personaggi

I due successivi appuntamenti sono a cura dei padroni di casa. Il primo, il 25 e 26 ottobre (e il 27 per le scuole) è con Tonino Murru e Donatella Pau, impegnati con un loro cavallo di battaglia: “Areste Paganòs e la farina del diavolo”, messa in scena sulla falsariga del shakespeariano Romeo e Giulietta, che affronta con la leggerezza tipica del teatro dei burattini un tema della faida radicato nell’humus sociale e culturale della Sardegna.

Nel secondo, “Oscar va in città”, in cartellone l’8 e 9 novembre (e il 10 per le scuole), Is Mascareddas propongono un originale contributo alla diffusione tra i più piccoli di una cultura dell’informazione alla sicurezza attraverso l’arte della burattineria. Nello spettacolo di teste di legno, scolpite da Donatella Pau e animate da Tonino Murru e Giorgio Siccardi, il giovane Oscar, con l’aiuto degli zii Giosuè e Peppino, affronta la strada con le sue sorprese e i suoi pericoli, tra cartelli stradali e semafori colorati, brusche frenate e impeccabili marescialli in divisa.

Il 22 e 23 novembre (e il 24 per le scuole) sipario aperto al MoMoTI per la compagnia Laborincolo di Perugia, in scena in prima visione per il pubblico sardo con lo spettacolo di burattini “Il miracolo della mula”, tra gli Eolo awards 2013 per il teatro di figura (prestigioso premio nazionale assegnato dalla rivista online di teatro ragazzi Eolo). Nella piéce – ideata da Gigio Brunello, regista, autore dei testi e delle musiche alternate a canzoni di Charles Trenet, e Marco Lucci, interprete e costruttore dei burattini – il Laborincolo fa rivivere i personaggi di un orologio meccanico posto sul campanile della grande piazza di Praga. Il protagonista del “Il miracolo della mula” è il vescovo Simplicio da Lubecca, che nel bel mezzo di una tempesta attraversa il bosco a cavallo della sua mula Santuzza e si rifugia sotto a un grande albero di mele famoso per non aver mai dato un frutto.

Dalle teste di legno del Laborincolo ai pupazzi e marionette da tavolo di Teatro Tages, i protagonisti del successivo spettacolo “FiloCristallo CuoreCorallo”, in cartellone il 29 e 30 novembre (e il primo dicembre per le scuole). La piéce è semplice come i personaggi animati da Agostino Cacciabue e Rita Xaxa  (un pupazzo di neve, un coniglio, una bambina e un lupo), semplice come i sentimenti che racconta (l’amicizia, l’affetto, la cura e l’egoismo) e come il messaggio che comunica: “Niente si distrugge tutto, se c’è la volontà si trasforma”, ovvero il rispetto della individualità di ciascuno e la necessità di un confronto costruttivo tra le persone.

Il mese di dicembre è tutto in compagnia de Is Mascareddas. Il 13 e 14 (e il 15 per le scuole) Tonino Murru è in scena con lo spettacolo “Anima e coru”: dieci brevi sketch, in cui si susseguono personaggi, stili, tecniche di animazione differenti. A fare da filo conduttore a tutti gli episodi la musica, con una selezione che va da brani d’opera al paso doble, dal tango alla musica delle bande itineranti. Un saggio della crescita artistica della compagnia Is Mascareddas, firmato a sei mani dall’interprete con Donatella Pau e Cristiano Bandini,  he diventa il pretesto per raccontare la storia della burattineria in Italia.

Il significato più autentico del Natale è evocato nella piéce con pupazzi e oggetti animati “Doni”, in scena il 20 e 21 dicembre (e il 22 per le scuole). Un racconto di Grazia Deledda, una favola dei fratelli Grimm e due leggende della tradizione popolare, raccolte e adattate dall’interprete Donatella Pau e da Betti Pau, indagano sul gesto del dono e restituiscono la magia che lo accompagna. In un piccolo spazio scenico, un tavolo e un carillon ospitano e scandiscono  le quattro storie: una vecchia signora riceve una visita inaspettata, un ragazzino scopre il dono della vita proprio nella sera di Natale, un calzolaio e la moglie hanno nella generosità la loro più grande ricchezza, un giovane innamorato non ha solo sentimento ma anche il dono dell’invenzione.

Chiude il cartellone, il 27 e 28 dicembre (e il 29 per le scuole) “Filò – Storie di figlie e di fili”, altre tre storie dei fratelli Grimm con la scrittura drammaturgica di Betti Pau e Donatella Pau. Su una tavola inclinata la burattinaia de Is Mascareddas anima dei piccoli pupazzi regalando suggestioni di un tempo passato, tempo di filatura, di incantesimi, di maledizioni e lieti fine. Tre storie, dove le protagoniste sono delle giovani che in qualche modo si affacciano alla vita e che si concludono con un finale bello, come una carezza che arriva al pubblico per alleggerire la durezza dei tempi odierni.

From October 18 to December 29 theater season for the license plate Is Mascareddas staged for children and families, in the theater of street March 31, 1943, eight shows, in a lineup that has pearls as the presence of the Catalan puppeteer Toni Zafra and the company Laborincolo from Perugia, with the new show signed by a champion of the Italian theater of animation: the playwright and puppeteer Gigio Brunello. A billboard still stands where the quality of the proposals, put together despite the tough times of economic crisis that is affecting the entire field of the performing arts.

The opening of the theater season targata Is Mascareddas is on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October (Monday 20 and for schools), with one of the most virtuous of interpreters Catalan puppetry, Toni Zafra, in duo with actress Nadia sassarese Imperio in the show “Qvántum – the circus puppet”: musical numbers and spoken in which animators manipulate to view the string puppets as “small creature made ​​of pasta almost human”, alternating moments of poetry and comedy. a microcosm circus with Lilit walking on the rope, Dun-Dun, the man bullet, Manolita Bocanegra, champion of weightlifting, and many other characters

The next two events are organized by the hosts. The first, on 25 and 26 October (and 27 schools) is with Tonino Murru and Donatella Pau, busy with their battle cry: “Areste Páganos and flour of the devil”, staged along the lines of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, which deals with the typical lightness of puppet theater theme of a feud rooted social and cultural humus of Sardinia.

In the second, “Oscar goes to town” on the bill on 8 and 9 November (and 10 schools), Is Mascareddas propose an original contribution to the spread among the smallest of a culture of information security through ‘art of burattineria. In the show of heads of wood, sculpted by Donatella Pau and animated by Tonino Murru and Giorgio Siccardi, the young Oscar, with the help of his uncles Joshua and Peppino, faces the street with its surprises and its dangers, including road signs and traffic lights colored, hard braking and flawless marshals in uniform.

On 22 and 23 November (and 24 schools) Momoti the curtain opened for the company Laborincolo of Perugia, in the scene in the first run for public Sardinian with the puppet show “The Miracle of the Mule,” among Aeolus awards 2013 for the puppet theater (prestigious national award given by the magazine online children’s theater Aeolus). In piéce – designed by Gigio Brunello, director, lyricist and music alternated with songs by Charles Trenet, and Marco Lucci, artist and maker of puppets – the Laborincolo brings to life the characters of a mechanical watch placed on the steeple of the great square of Prague. The protagonist of “The Miracle of the Mule” is the bishop Simplicio from Lübeck, that in the midst of a storm crossing the forest riding on his mule Santuzza and takes refuge under a large apple tree famous for never having given a fruit .

From the wooden heads of the puppets and marionettes Laborincolo table of Theatre Tages, the protagonists of the next show “FiloCristallo CuoreCorallo” billboard in the 29 and 30 November (and December 1 for schools). The piéce is as simple as the animated characters from Augustine and Rita Cacciabue Xaxa (a snowman, a rabbit, a girl and a wolf), simple as that recounts the feelings (friendship, affection, care and l ‘selfishness) and how the message saying: “Nothing is destroyed everything, if there is the will turns”, ie respect for the individuality of each person and the need for a constructive dialogue between people.

The month of December is all in the company of Is Mascareddas. The 13 and 14 (and 15 for schools) Tonino Murru is on stage with the show “Soul and coru”: ten short sketch, in which successive characters, styles, different animation techniques. To act as a common thread in all the episodes music, with a selection ranging from opera pieces to the paso doble, tango to the music of touring bands. A sample of the artistic growth of the company Is Mascareddas signed six hands interpreter with Donatella Pau and Christian Bandini, he becomes the excuse to tell the story of burattineria in Italy.

The true meaning of Christmas is evoked in piéce with puppets and animated objects “Gifts”, staged on 20 and 21 December (and 22 schools). A tale of Grazia Deledda, a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, and two legends of the folk tradition, collected and adapted by the interpreter Donatella Pau and Pau Betti, investigating the gesture of the gift and return the magic that accompanies it. In a small performance space, a table and a carillon house and mark the four stories: an old lady receives an unexpected visit, a young boy discovers the gift of life just on Christmas Eve, a shoemaker and his wife in their generosity more great wealth, a young man in love is not only sentiment but also the gift of the invention.

Closes the program, the December 27 and 28 (and 29 for schools) “Filò – Stories of daughters and wires”, three other stories of the Brothers Grimm with the dramatic writing of Betti and Donatella Pau Pau. Upon an inclined board the is puppeteer de Mascareddas soul of the little puppets giving suggestions of a time past, time of spinning, spells, curses, and happy endings. Three stories where the protagonists are young people who somehow overlook the life and ending with a final beautiful, like a caress that reaches the audience to lighten the harshness of modern times.
