INTERNATIONAL FOLK FEST – SESTU – FROM JULY 27 TO AUGUST 6

This year the Folk Group “Nuraghi” is a promoter of the festival International Folk Fest. Under an interesting cultural exchange, will be present in Sestu from 27 July to 6 August several foreign folk groups. The groups will perform in diverse places of Sestu, and in those of some of the surrounding countries and other centers of Cagliari in Sardinia, in order to make the public aware of the traditions of their countries of origin.
The first appointment is Friday, July 27 at 19.30, in the council of the City of Sestu, for the presentation of the groups and the greeting of welcome by the city administration. Following the final exhibition in Piazza Salvo d’Acquisto.

Saturday, July 28, 21:30: promotional preview of the International Folk Fest in the city of Sinnai. Groups will perform in France, Cyprus and Serbia
Sunday, July 29, 21:30: preview of the international Folk Fest at the country church of San Gemiliano. Groups will perform in France, Cyprus and Serbia
Tuesday, July 31, at 21: International Folk Fest Music Square. Groups will perform in Poland, Lithuania, Benin and Colombia
Wednesday, August 1, at 22: Promotion of International Folk Fest premiere in the town of Uta
Thursday, August 2, at 22: Promotion of International Folk Fest premiere in the city of Bortigali
Saturday, August 4, at 22: International Folk Fest 2012 in Piazza Salvatore Santissiomo with international groups in France, Cyprus, Serbia, India, Czech Republic, the Basque Country and Nuraghi Sestu
Sunday, August 5, 18:30: International Folk Fest at the galleries of the shopping center La Corte del Sole with groups from France, Cyprus, Serbia and Nuraghi Sestu
