Il Mercatino di Natale di Francoforte Ti regala un tuffo nella magica atmosfera della tradizione dell’Avvento in Germania. In questo periodo Francoforte si veste dei suoni e dei colori del Natale. Centinaia di luci illuminano il centro storico “Römerberg”, e tutta la città odora di mele, nocciole, vino brulé e pan di zenzero.
L’antico mercato di Francoforte si tiene ogni anno nel Romerberg, sulla Paulsplatz e nella Mainkai e di questo mercato si hanno notizie dal 1393. Questo mercatino, antico e dalla storia misteriosa, è uno dei più importanti di tutta la Germania. Vengono allestiti circa 200 chalet dove si trovano giocattoli in legno, biscotti speziati, dolci ripieni di marzapane, salsicce, wurstel, panpepato e mele caramellate e al forno e soprattutto il particolare vin brulè della città . I mercatini si trovano nel centro storico e lungo il fiume dove è possibile pranzare o cenare con panini e patatine fritte fatte al momento. Viene anche allestito uno degli alberi di natale più belli del Mondo.
Andando al mercatino di natale di Francoforte è come fare un giro nella magica atmosfera che viene emanata delle varie tradizioni del natale in Germania. Ed è proprio in questo periodo che la città si veste di colori, luci e suoni gioiosi del natale e nell’aria si può sentire il buonissimo e caldo profumo delle mele, nocciole del pan di zenzero e del vin brulè. La MainTower una delle costruzioni più imponenti della Germania, è situata a Francoforte ha un altezza di circa 200 metri e prende il suo nome dal fiume Meno
