Nuova veste per Il Grande Teatro dei Piccoli. La storica stagione per famiglie targata Is Mascareddas, al via sabato (12 ottobre) a Monserrato con la sua ottava edizione ospitata al MoMoTI, raddoppia: fino a domenica 29 dicembre, accanto al consueto cartellone teatrale, il centro culturale in via 31 marzo 1943 è pronto ad accogliere una programmazione dedicata al cinema d’animazione. Parte così un esperimento voluto dalla compagnia Is Mascareddas per rendere onore alla doppia valenza del MoMoTI, ex Cinema Moderno (una delle prime sale esistenti in Sardegna, realizzata nel 1921 dall’imprenditore Salvatore Nonnoi insieme al figlio Gigi e ai generi Genesio Spiga ed Emanuele Foddis).

Il ricco programma della manifestazione è formato da trentadue appuntamenti, suddivisi in recite serali, matinée scolastici e cinema d’animazione.

Otto gli spettacoli presentati da quattro realtà teatrali sarde: i cagliaritani Teatro del Sale, la formazione di Quartu Sant’Elena Teatro Actores Alidos, il giocoliere ed attore Pietro Olla e i padroni di casa Is Mascareddas.

Sette, invece, i film in calendario, scelti tra i migliori titoli di cinema d’animazione: produzioni nate in Giappone, Italia, Belgio, Francia e Repubblica Ceca, alcune firmate dai più grandi maestri del genere, quali, ad esempio, il giapponese Hayao  Myazaki e il francese Michel Ocelot.

Come di consueto, le recite serali sono in programma alle 18. Stesso orario di programmazione per i film d’animazione. Per le recite scolastiche, invece, il sipario si apre alle 10.30. Popolari, secondo la tradizione del Grande Teatro dei Piccoli, i prezzi dei biglietti: 5 euro per gli spettacoli e le proiezioni serali, 4 euro per i matinée riservati alle scuole. · Il calendario degli spettacoli e dei film

Si comincia, come detto, sabato 12 ottobre con la proiezione di “Nat e il segreto di Eleonora” (Francia/Italia 2010), lungometraggio diretto dal francese Dominique  Monféry per la casa di produzione torinese Lanterna Magica (conosciuta dal grande pubblico per celebri realizzazioni, come “La Gabbianella e il Gatto” e “La Freccia Azzurra”). Il suo protagonista è il piccolo Nat, che non ha ancora imparato a leggere. Il bambino scopre una biblioteca segreta nella casa della zia Eleonora. Dalle pagine dei libri i personaggi fanno capolino e prendono vita. Il compito di Nat sarà quello di pronunciare una frase magica per permettere alle fiabe di vivere ancora e di far sognare i bambini.

L’indomani (domenica 13 ottobre) Pietro Olla inaugura la stagione teatrale per famiglie  al MoMoTI con “Circoscienza – Prof Pietrosky e il coniglio nel cappello”. Con numeri di giocoleria e dimostrazioni di abilità circensi, il docente di “fisica del gioco” risolve, insieme al pubblico in sala, tre quesiti: uno di geometria, uno di astronomia e un terzo di anatomia.  Lo spettacolo è in programma per le scuole lunedì 14 ottobre.

Il 9 novembre, il secondo appuntamento col cinema d’animazione, è con un capolavoro assoluto del genere: “Il castello errante di Howl”, del grande maestro Hayao  Myazaki (Giappone, 2004). Nel film si racconta la vita di Sophie, una giovane cappellaia, sconvolta dall’incontro con un misterioso individuo e con la perfida Strega delle Lande, che scaglia su di lei una terribile maledizione.

Il giorno dopo, 10 novembre (e l’11 per le scuole), Tonino Murru e Donatella Pau de Is Mascareddas  presentano un loro cavallo di battaglia: “Areste Paganòs e la farina del diavolo”, messa in scena sulla falsariga del shakespeariano Romeo e Giulietta, che affronta con la leggerezza tipica del teatro dei burattini un tema radicato nell’humus sociale e culturale della Sardegna, quello della faida.

Il 23 novembre spazio di nuovo alla settima arte con la proiezione di “Principi e Principesse” (Francia, 2000), di Michel Ocelot. Nel film – realizzato, dopo il successo di “Kirikù e la strega Karabà”, con la tecnica delle silhouette –  una bambina e un bambino, grazie all’aiuto di un anziano tecnico di computer, riescono a proiettarsi nella magia di sei storie differenti: un viaggio tra il passato e il futuro, in luoghi distanti e affascinanti.

Il 24 novembre ( e il 25 per le scuole) Tonino Murru è in scena con “Areste Paganòs e i giganti”. Nel secondo episodio della trilogia dedicata all’eroe burattino de Is Mascareddas, il protagonista si misura contro i due balordi del paese e, armato di intelligenza e ironia, rifiuta qualsiasi prova di forza, lanciando loro una “sfida memorabile”.

Il 30 novembre spazio di nuovo al cinema d’animazione con “Appuntamento a Belleville” (Francia/Belgio/Canada, 2003).  I protagonisti del film, diretto da Sylvain Chomet, sono Champion, ciclista con il sogno di vincere il Tour de France, la nonna ed allenatrice Madame Souza e il fedele cane Bruno.

Il trittico di spettacoli dedicati ad Areste si conclude, l’indomani, 1° dicembre (e il 2 dicembre, per le scuole), con “Areste Paganòs e lo strano caso del paese di Trastullas”. La piéce de Is Mascareddas per teste di legno, animate da Tonino Murru e Mimmo Ferrari, è basata sul racconto di Giuseppe Fiori “Il bandito municipale”.

Il 7 dicembre è in programma la proiezione di “Pat e Mat” (Repubblica Ceca), creato dagli animators Lubomír Beneš e Marek Beneš. Pat e Mat, la cui prima apparizione risale al 1976 nel film d’animazione “Kutaci”, sono due pasticcioni che ne combinano di tutti i colori. Il duo è molto conosciuto nella Repubblica Ceca, ma anche all’estero e soprattutto nell’Europa dell’est, grazie ad una serie televisiva che li vede protagonisti.

Il giorno dopo, 8 dicembre (e il 9 dicembre per le scuole), sipario aperto per il Teatro del Sale con “La vera, verissima storia di Babbo Natale”, di Emanuele Masillo e Aurora Simeone. La piéce racconta le numerose leggende che esistono intorno alla figura di un personaggio così familiare eppure così sconosciuto. Lo spettacolo è interpretato da Corrado Licheri, Aurora Simeone ed  Emanuele Masillo.

Il 14 dicembre sesta serata col cinema d’animazione. In programma la visione di “Arrietty, il mondo sotto il pavimento” (Giappone, 2010), scritto da Hayao Miyazaki e diretto da Hiromasa Yonebayashi. Il film racconta la storia di una famiglia di “rubacchiotti”, esseri alti dieci centimetri, che vivono sotto il pavimento di una grande casa nella campagna di Tokyo e prendono in prestito dagli umani tutto ciò che serve loro per sopravvivere.

Il 15 dicembre (e il 16, per le scuole) è la volta del Teatro Actores Alidos ne “Il brutto anatroccolo”, rivisitazione della celebre favola di Andersen adattata e diretta da Valeria Pilia. Con una narrazione ironica e divertente le attrici Manuela Sanna e Manuela Ragusa interpretano una coppia stravagante: Pinco il pasticcione e la dolce Sballina. I due personaggi raccontano la fiaba con pupazzi, maschere e giochi d’ombra.

Pezzo natalizio per eccellenza – per scoprire insieme il significato più autentico del dono come atto di valore sociale – è la piéce de Is Mascareddas “Doni”, in cartellone nelle serate del 21 e 22 dicembre (insieme a tre matinée per le scuole in programma il 18, 19 e 20 dicembre). Il tema dello spettacolo per marionette da tavolo animate da Donatella Pau è sviluppato in cinque storie, create dall’interprete con Betti Pau.

Le battute finali dell’ottava edizione de Il Grande Teatro dei Piccoli • Monserrato sono affidate a Donatella Pau. Le serate del 26, 27 e 29 dicembre la burattinaia de Is Mascareddas è di scena con “Filò – storie di figlie e di fili”. Lo spettacolo di marionette da tavolo, anticipato da cinque repliche della piéce per le scuole a novembre, dal 18 al 22, è basato su tre favole di tradizione germanica pubblicate dai fratelli Grimm: “Rosaspina”, “Le tre filatrici” e “Tremotino”. La scrittura drammaturgica è di Betti Pau e Donatella Pau.

L’ultimo appuntamento con il cinema d’animazione è, invece, il  28 dicembre con la proiezione di “Ernest e Celestine” (Francia/ Belgio, 2003), di Stephane Aubier, Vincent Patar e Benjamin Renner. Il film si ispira ai libri disegnati dall’illustratrice e scrittrice belga Gabrielle Vincent, che narrano le avventure dell’orso Ernest e della topolina Célestine. La sceneggiatura del lungometraggio è dello scrittore Daniel Pennac.

The historical season for families Is Mascareddas license plate , which kicks off Saturday ( October 12) to Montserrat with its eighth edition hosted at Momoti doubles : until Sunday 29 December, alongside the usual theater season , the cultural center in on March 31, 1943 is ready to accept a programming dedicated to animated films . Part as an experiment by the company Is Mascareddas wanted to honor the double meaning of the Momoti , former Cinema Moderno (one of the first rooms existing in Sardinia , built in 1921 by entrepreneur and his son Salvatore Nonnoi Gigi and genres Genesio Spiga and Emanuele Foddis ) .

The full program of the event is made ​​up of thirty-two appointments, divided into evening performances , school matinees and animation .

Eight shows presented by four theatrical realities sardines : the Cagliari Teatro del Sale , the formation of St. Helens Theatre Actores Alidos , the juggler and actor Peter Olla and the hosts Is Mascareddas .

· The schedule of shows and movies

It begins , as mentioned, Saturday, Oct. 12 with a screening of “Nat and the secret of Eleonora ” (France / Italy , 2010), feature film directed by Frenchman Dominique Monféry for the production company Lanterna Magica Turin ( known by the general public to celebrate achievements , as “The Seagull and the Cat ” and ” the Blue Arrow ” ) . Its protagonist is the little Nat, who has not yet learned to read . The child discovers a secret library in the house of her aunt Eleanor. From the pages of the books the characters peek out and come to life. The task of Nat will be to utter a magic phrase to allow the stories to live again and to dream children.

The next day ( Sunday, October 13 ) Peter Olla opens the theater season for families to Momoti with ” CircoScienza – Prof Pietrosky and the rabbit in the hat ” . With juggling and circus skills demonstrations , the teacher of ” physics of the game ” resolves, along with the audience three questions : one of geometry , astronomy, and one third of anatomy . The show is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 14 schools .

On November 9 , the second appointment with the animated film , is a masterpiece of the genre: ” The Howl’s Moving Castle ” , the great master Hayao Myazaki (Japan, 2004). The film tells the story of Sophie , a young milliner , upset by the encounter with a mysterious individual and the Wicked Witch of the Moors , who throws a terrible curse upon her .

The next day, November 10 ( and 11 schools), Tonino Murru and Donatella de Pau Is Mascareddas have a their battle cry : ” Areste Páganos and flour of the devil” , staged along the lines of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet , which deals with the typical lightness of puppet theater a theme rooted social and cultural humus of Sardinia, one of the feud .

On 23 November space back to the seventh art with the screening of ” Princes and Princesses ” (France, 2000) , by Michel Ocelot . In the film – made after the success of ” Kirikou and the Sorceress ” , with the technique of silhouette – a girl and a boy , with the help of an old computer technician, able to project themselves in the magic of six different stories : a journey through the past and the future , in distant places and fascinating .

On November 24 ( and 25 for schools) Tonino Murru is on stage with ” Areste Páganos and the giants .” In the second episode of the trilogy dedicated to the hero puppet of Is Mascareddas , the protagonist is measured against the two thugs in the country and , armed with intelligence and humor , rejects any show of force , throwing them a ” memorable challenge .”

On 30 November space back to the animation with ” The Triplets of Belleville ” (France / Belgium / Canada , 2003). The protagonists of the film, directed by Sylvain Chomet , are Champion cyclist with the dream of winning the Tour de France, Madame Souza coach and her grandmother and faithful dog Bruno .

The triptych of shows dedicated to Areste ends, the next day, December 1 ( and 2 December , for schools) , with ” Areste Páganos and the strange case of the country of Trastullas .” The pièce de Is Mascareddas for wooden heads , animated by Tonino Murru and Mimmo Ferrari , is based on the novel by Giuseppe Fiori ” The Bandit municipal .”

On December 7, there will be the screening of ” Pat and Mat” (Czech Republic) , created by animators Lubomir Benes and Marek Beneš . Pat and Mat , whose first appearance was in 1976 in the animated film ” Kutaci ” are two bungling that combine all the colors. The duo is well known in the Czech Republic , but also abroad, particularly in Eastern Europe , thanks to a television series that sees them protagonists.

The play tells of the many legends that exist around the figure of a character so familiar and yet so unknown . The show is played by Corrado Licheri , Aurora Simeon and Emanuele Masillo .

On 14 December the sixth evening with animation . The program ‘s vision of ” Arrietty , the world under the floor ” (Japan, 2010) , written by Hayao Miyazaki and directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi . The film tells the story of a family of ” Borrowers ” , ten centimeters tall beings who live under the floor of a large house in the countryside of Tokyo and borrowing from humans everything they need to survive.

On December 15 ( and 16 , for schools) it was the turn of the Teatro Actores Alidos in “The Ugly Duckling “, a reconstruction of the famous Hans Christian Andersen fable adapted and directed by Valeria Pilia . With a narrative ironic and funny actresses Manuela Manuela Sanna and Ragusa play a couple extravagant : Pinco the bungler and the sweet Sballina . The two characters tell the tale with puppets , masks and shadows .

Piece of Chistmas – to discover together the true meaning of gift as an act of social value – is the pièce de Is Mascareddas “Gifts ” , scheduled on the evenings of 21 and 22 December ( along with three matinees for schools in the program 18 , 19 and 20 December) . The theme of the show to table puppets animated by Donatella Pau is developed in five stories , created by the interpreter with Betti Pau .

The final stages of the eighth edition of The Great Theatre of the Small • Montserrat are handled by Donatella Pau . The evenings of 26 , 27 and 29 December, the puppeteer of Is Mascareddas takes center stage with ” Filò – stories of daughters and wires .” The puppet show table , preceded by five replicates of the play for schools in November, 18-22 , is based on three tales of the Germanic tradition published by the Brothers Grimm , ” Sleeping Beauty “, ” The three spinners ” and ” Rumpelstiltskin ” . The dramatic writing is Betti and Donatella Pau Pau .

The last appointment with the animation is , however , on December 28 with the screening of ” Ernest and Celestine ” ( France / Belgium, 2003) , Stephane Aubier , Vincent Patar and Benjamin Renner . The film is inspired by the books and designed dall’illustratrice Belgian writer Gabrielle Vincent , narrating the adventures of the little mouse Bear Ernest and Celestine . The screenplay of the film is the writer Daniel Pennac .
