Le edizioni Condaghes in collaborazione con l’associazione Miele amaro-circolo dei lettori e Villanova cafè bistrò hanno il piacere di presentare Il condaghe segreto,romanzo storico e d’avventura nuovo lavoro del giornalista e scrittore Vindice Lecis,autore nato a Sassari nel 1957, giornalista del Gruppo Editoriale l’Espresso dal 1981.
Ha lavorato a ´La Nuova Sardegna´ (capo cronista a Oristano e Sassari) e, come redattore-capo, a ´il Centro´ di Pescara, ´La Provincia Pavese´, ´La Nuova Ferrara´, la ´Gazzetta di Reggio´, inviato regionale in Emilia-Romagna e nazionale all’AGL (Agenzia Giornali Locali).

Il condaghe segreto è un romanzo storico ambientato nella Sardegna dei giudici.
Un periodo, quello medievale, per nulla buio e oscuro quanto ricco di fermenti è lo scenario scelto per ambientare una storia dove alla realtà dei fatti realmente accaduti si sovrappongono vicende e personaggi frutto di fantasia.
Ma il successo del romanzo sta proprio nel non aver voluto stravolgere i fatti storici.
In questo romanzo rivive la Sardegna della prima metà del XII secolo, quando l’isola era divisa in quattro regni (i giudicati).
Nel XII secolo i pisani e genovesi considerano la Sardegna una loro esclusiva proprietà e combattono una lunga guerra per ottenerla.
Scontri, accordi, tradimenti e intrighi si intrecciano con storie d´amore.
Storia e invenzione si alternano e si completano.
Questo accade anche quando entrano nel romanzo i monaci di Cabuabbas, il primo monastero cistercense dell´isola, edificato vicino a Sindia nella Sardegna centrale. Il condaghe segreto è il documento che raccoglie contratti che modificano la proprietà
agraria sino a quel momento dei grandi majorales. E forse per questo non è mai stato trovato.
L´invenzione aiuta e spiega la storia vera dalla quale emerge con forza una Sardegna pienamente inserita nelle vicende mediterranee dell´epoca e che nel nostro romanzo rivive come una realtà palpitante che spinge sul proscenio due grandi personaggi come San Bernardo di Clairvaux e il monaco Gonario, padre di Barisone di Torres.
Nel maggio 1165 una torma di armati pisani sbarca nei pressi di Torres e ne devasta il territorio. Ma a Ottava, una modesta villa non distante dalla capitale logudorese, i razziatori sono intercettati e battuti dai sardi che ne uccidono ottanta. Proprio da questo episodio storicamente ricordato negli Annales Pisani, prende le mosse il romanzo che racconta una Sardegna medievale alle prese con la difesa delle proprie prerogative di fronte agli appetiti delle potenze dell´epoca: Pisa e Genova, il Papato e l´Impero. Le vicende si svolgono vent´anni dopo quelle narrate in Buiakesos: le guardie del Giudice, con il ritorno di alcuni dei personaggi che le avevano animate e con nuovi protagonisti. Ritroviamo Gosantine Palas, ora a capo delle armate logudoresi, costretto a un atto doloroso nei confronti del figlio Jorgi. Ricompare sua moglie Giorgia che impone alla storia continui e audaci strappi. Altri protagonisti sono i sovrani dell´epoca: Barisone di Torres, Pietro di Cagliari e lo sfortunato Barisone di Arborea che osò molto per realizzare la propria ambizione di diventare sovrano unico dell´intera Sardegna.
