I RITI DELLA SETTIMANA SANTA – CAGLIARI – 22 – 29 MARZOHOLY WEEK IN CAGLIARI – CAGLIARI – MARCH 22 TO 29

I riti della Settimana Santa a Cagliari: come ogni anno partiranno il 22 marzo, il venerdì di passione.
E potrebbe essere per Cagliari un’occasione per portare turisti visto il contesto non certo semplice.
Tutto il programma è stato presentato stamattina in una conferenza stampa dagli assessori al Turismo Barbara Argiolas e alla Cultura Enrica Puggioni, alla presenza delle Confraternite del centro storico: della Solitudine (Chiesa San Giovanni), del SS. Crocifisso (oratorio SS. Crocifisso), del Gonfalone (Chiesa di Sant’Efisio). E della Congregazione degli Artieri della Chiesa di San Michele.

“I riti della Settimana Santa – sottolinea l’assessore Puggioni – hanno una valenza enorme non solo per il significato religioso, ma anche per la conservazione del patrimonio materiale e immateriale”.
Degli eventi che “si innestano – come spiega l’assessore Argiolas – all’interno di un progetto di strategia turistica. Il periodo per il turismo non è dei migliori, a Cagliari c’è stato un calo del 40 per cento. Dobbiamo essere capaci di diversificare l’offerta. E i riti della Settimana Santa rappresentano un momento importante che abbiamo cercato di promuovere già da gennaio nei portali di Meridiana e Alitalia, e distribuendo brochure in tutti gli alberghi della provincia”.
Si partirà il 22 marzo alle 16 con la processione dei Santi Misteri Is Misterius, partenza da piazza San Giacomo.

Il 23 marzo alle 20 nella Basilica di Bonaria ci sarà la sacra rappresentazione della passione di Gesù.

Il 24 marzo la Domenica delle Palme alle 12 nella Chiesa San Giovanni.

Il 26 marzo la processione dei Santi Misteri di Stampace con partenza alle 15.30 dalla Chiesa San Michele.

Il 27 marzo la vestizione della Madonna alle 17 nell’oratorio SS Crocifisso, e alle 18 nella Chiesa Sant’Efisio. Il 28 la Crocefissione e  esposizione del Crocefisso, mentre il 29 la processione alle 13.15 da Chiesa San Giovanni, alle 16 dall’oratorio SS Crocifisso e alle 20 da Chiesa Sant’Efisio.
Ci sarà poi la Domenica di Pasqua con  processioni nei quartieri di Villanova, Stampace e in via Roma.

I Riti termineranno l’8 aprile con S’Inserru ossia il riposizionamento dei simulacri nelle rispettive cappelle.
