Trama del film
ATTACCO AL POTERE –  Olympus Has Fallen:
Un piccolo gruppo di estremisti, armati fino ai denti e meticolosamente addestrati, dà il via ad un audace agguato in pieno giorno alla Casa Bianca, oltrepassando l’edificio e prendendo in ostaggio il Presidente Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) e il suo staff all’interno dell’impenetrabile bunker presidenziale sotterraneo. Il loro obiettivo è quello di mettere sotto scacco l’intera nazione degli Stati Uniti, attaccandoli con le loro stesse armi. Mentre infuria una battaglia campale sul prato della Casa Bianca, l’ex responsabile della sicurezza presidenziale, Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), si unisce alla mischia, scoprendo che è l’unico membro dei Servizi Segreti ancora vivo nell’edificio assediato. Banning usa la sua preparazione e la dettagliata conoscenza della residenza presidenziale per divenire gli occhi e le orecchie del vice presidente Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) e dei suoi consiglieri. Nel momento in cui gli invasori iniziano a giustiziare degli ostaggi minacciando di ucciderne molti di più se non vengono esaudite le loro richieste, Banning, cerca di individuare il giovane figlio del presidente, nascosto da qualche parte all’interno dell’edificio, e salvare il presidente stesso prima che i terroristi possano mettere in atto il loro piano. Quando il numero delle vittime aumenta e il tempo sta per scadere, diventa chiaro che Banning rappresenta l’unica speranza degli Stati Uniti per evitare la catastrofe.

THE SIEGE – Olympus Has Fallen:
A small group of extremists, armed to the teeth and meticulously trained, is launching a bold ambush in broad daylight at the White House, past the building and taking hostage the President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) and his staff to ‘ inside the impenetrable underground presidential bunker. Their goal is to put in check the entire nation of the United States, attacking them with their own weapons. In the midst of a pitched battle on the White House lawn, the former head of presidential security, Banning Mike (Gerard Butler), joins the fray, discovering that he is the only member of the Secret Service still alive in the building under siege. Banning uses his preparation and detailed knowledge of the presidential residence to become the eyes and ears of the vice president Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) and his advisers. The moment the invaders begin to execute the hostages and threatened to kill many more if you do not forward their requests, Banning, try to locate the young son of the president, hidden somewhere inside the building, and save the president himself before the terrorists can implement their plan.
