“…GIROgustando” – Cagliari

VIAGGIO ENOGASTRONOMICO FRA STORIE E SAPORI
1° itinerario: CASTELLO.

Solo pochi decenni fa nobili Dame, duchi, marchesi, vescovi, capitani
e generali percorrevano le vie ciottolate di Cagliari; Vice Re e
Governatori viaggiavano in carrozze scortate da fanti delle Regie
Armate.
Cavalieri di varia natura si muovevano dentro e fuori le mura
nell’affollata attività di popoli di origini diverse che frequentavano
l’abitato.
Nella baia ormeggiavano imponenti velieri provenienti dai più remoti
porti del mediterraneo, carichi di merci e viaggiatori con un bagaglio
di storie e avventure pari ai migliori racconti di pirati e corsari.
Spesso, alcuni di questi vascelli tentavano l’assalto alla conquista
della città, meta ambita delle marinerie e dei colonizzatori del
passato.
Ogni dominatore, fra intrighi, battaglie, costruzioni, espansioni, ma
anche rituali, feste, storie curiose e avventure romantiche
contribuiva ad arricchire la storia, l’architettura, la lingua, la
gastronomia, gli usi e i costumi di questa terra fino ad arrivare
all’immenso patrimonio tradizionale odierno.

Pensando a tutto questo è nata “…GIROgustando”:

una rassegna di quattro itinerari enogastronomici che si muovono fra
quartieri storici e percorsi sotterranei, alla scoperta degli aspetti
più insoliti e suggestivi della città per concludersi con una ricca
degustazione nell’Antica Enoteca Cagliaritana.

La particolarità di questa iniziativa é quella di offrire ai
partecipanti, turisti o residenti, un modo nuovo di esplorare il
percorso:
…seguendo le tracce delle leggende passate, si conoscono profumi,
colori e sapori antichi che ancora persistono nei quartieri, e che
quotidianamente sfuggono alla nostra attenzione.

Le nostre guide ci accompagnano in modo divertente e informale alla
scoperta di una Cagliari rara, mai vista e neanche immaginata!

“Ci sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo, passeggiando fra i
ciottolati come dame e cavalieri medioevali, circondati da suoni,
emozioni, sensazioni e curiose figure, ci ritroviamo nella bontà dei
vini e dei cibi che hanno reso famosa questa terra”.

Il primo appuntamento non poteva che essere: – CASTELLO -
Infatti questo quartiere consente una visita della Cagliari storica
piacevole e molto spettacolare unitamente alla scoperta
dell’enogastronomia isolana. Un’esperienza che cambia decisamente il
modo di vedere la città e che meglio di qualunque altro itinerario fa
comprendere il passato e la storia di questo affascinante e suggestivo
luogo.

Questo è un evento ‘leggero’ che coniuga la conoscenza storica,
attraverso l’esperienza diretta nei luoghi piuttosto che lo studio
teorico delle date e dei fatti, ad una conviviale e gustosa
degustazione dei prodotti tradizionali condivisa con allegria fra gli
invitati.

La facilità del percorso e la semplicità divulgativa lo rendono adatto
a tutti, bambini compresi,

lasciare nei pressi di Piazza Yenne o Viale Buon Cammino e raggiungere
i Giardini Pubblici a piedi.

TRAVEL BETWEEN FOOD AND WINE AND FOOD STORIES
Route 1: CASTLE.

Only a few decades ago noble Dame, dukes, marquises, bishops, captains
General and walked the cobbled streets of Cagliari, Viceroy and
Governors were traveling in carriages escorted by soldiers of the Royal
Armed.
Knights of various kinds were moving in and out of the walls
in the busy activities of peoples of different origins who attended
the town.
Majestic sailing ships moored in the bay from the most remote
Mediterranean ports, laden with goods and passengers with luggage
of stories and adventures of the best tales of pirates and privateers.
Often, some of these vessels were trying to conquer the assault
the city, a popular destination of the navies of the colonizers and the
past.
Every ruler, between intrigues, battles, buildings, expansions, but
also rituals, celebrations, curious stories and romantic adventures
contributed to enrich the history, architecture, language,
gastronomy, the habits and customs of this land up to
immense traditional heritage today.

Thinking about all this is born “… GIROGUSTANDO”

an overview of four food and wine tours that move between
historic districts and underground routes, the discovery of the aspects
most unusual and evocative of the city and ends with a rich
Wine tasting in the ancient Cagliaritana.

The special feature of this initiative is to offer the
participants, tourists or residents, a new way to explore the
route:
… Following in the footsteps of legends past, you know perfumes,
colors and flavors that persist in the neighborhoods, and that
daily escape our attention.

Our guides will accompany us in a fun and informal to
Cagliari discovery of a rare, never seen or even imagined!

“We seem to have stepped back in time, walking among the
cobblestones as medieval knights and ladies, surrounded by sounds,
emotions, feelings and curious figures, we find ourselves in the goodness of
wines and foods that have made this land famous. “

The first appointment could only be: – CASTLE -
In fact, this neighborhood offers a tour of the historical Cagliari
pleasant and very spectacular together with the discovery
eno island. An experience that definitely changes the
way to see the city and better than any other route ago
understand the past and the history of this fascinating and charming
place.

This event is a ‘light’ that combines historical knowledge,
through direct experience in the places rather than the study
theoretical dates and facts, to a friendly and tasty
tasting of traditional products with joy shared among
invited.

to all, including children,
