Gli Artisti:
– Serena Fazio
Sono sempre stata affascinata dalla figura della “Grande Madre”, dalla Madre Terra e dalla ricerca di Assoluto che può portare all’equilibrio, alla pace interiore e universale. Sono un’idealista ma con i piedi per terra e osservo con sgomento lo scempio che l’Uomo compie su se stesso e sul Pianeta. Ho i genitori siciliani, ma sono nata e vissuta in Veneto,poi a Milano…dal 1980 in Sardegna , mediterranea per vocazione! Nell’Isola mi trovo bene: qui c’è più Madre Natura , c’è un senso dell’Assoluto che è tangibile nei menhir, nei pozzi sacri,nei maestosi “nuraghi”, nelle tradizioni millenarie che hanno orientato, nel tempo, gli uomini ad agire e a considerare con “naturalezza” il nascere, il vivere e il morire: trovo che oggigiorno la scienza, pur riconoscendole enormi meriti, ci abbia tolto il Mistero e ci abbia spinto verso un’infelicità disperata.
-Saverio Pala
L’artista Saverio Pala comincia la sua formazione a metà degli anni ’90.
Autodidatta, volge da subito lo sguardo al paesaggio eseguito e risolto sul vero, studiandone le luci, le ombre e gli effetti cromatici attraverso l’olio, l’acquerello ma anche il carboncino ed il pastello.
Le vedute sono prevalentemente quelle delle località marine dell’oristanese con le spiagge, il mare, le antiche torri e le case dai colori sgargianti.
Saverio vive e lavora ad Oristano, una cittadina della costa occidentale sarda.
Ha all’attivo una ventina di mostre fra personali e collettive.

The Artists:
– Serena Fazio
I’ve always been fascinated by the figure of the “Great Mother”, from Mother Earth and the search for the Absolute that can bring balance, inner peace and universal. I’m an idealist but with feet on the ground and watch with dismay the destruction that man makes of himself and the planet. I have Sicilian parents, but I was born and lived in the Veneto region, then in Milan … since 1980 in Sardinia, Mediterranean vocation! On the island I feel good: here is more Mother Nature, there is a sense of the Absolute which is palpable in the standing stones, holy wells, in the majestic “Nuraghe” in ancient traditions that have guided, over time, the men to act and to consider something “natural” to be born, to live and to die: I find that nowadays science, although acknowledging enormous merits, we have removed the mystery and we have pushed desperate unhappiness.
Xavier Pala-
The artist Xavier Pala began his training in the mid 90s.
Self-taught, he turns his gaze to the landscape immediately executed and settled on the true, studying the lights, shadows, and color effects through oil, watercolor but also the charcoal and pastel.
The views are mainly those of the seaside towns of Oristano with the beaches, the sea, the ancient towers and brightly-colored houses.
Xavier lives and works in Oristano, a town on the west coast of Sardinia.
He has had twenty solo and group exhibitions between.
