GENERATIONS. ROUTES OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY IN SARDINIA – CAPITOL GALLERY – CAGLIARI – SEPTEMBER 7 TO OCTOBER 20
Opens September 7, 2012 at 18:00 at the Capitol Gallery of Cagliari a new exhibition, entitled Generations. Paths of the twentieth century in Sardinia. It is almost a century of painting to be represented in the exhibition by a selection of paintings by Giuseppe Biasi Bernardino Palazzi, Carmelo Floris, Ausonius Tanda and Foiso Fois, a journey that evokes the passage of time and changing mediums and languages through artistic portraits and self-portraits, landscapes, choral scenes and fantastic compositions.
The works that are presented are the well-known and already published and some unpublished, with some real excellence – which is documented participation in prestigious national exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale – and several new features of great interest. The quality is always very high, whether it be of immediate seduction of pretty girls of Oristano Biasi and magnificent palaces bare that the expressive power of the portraits of Floris, figures of social protest of Fois or the charm of alien Ciborg Ausonius Tanda.
