Here we are at the penultimate round of the Review Meetings XX Throw something there.
Gaber Gaber if it is a Talk-Show proposed and produced by Fondazione Gaber, written and performed by the journalist and writer Andrea Scanzi.
In 90 minutes, the audience watches the flow of images and movies – often new – which alternates the analysis of story-telling Scanzi up to become a protagonist, with Gaber, thrilling those who knew and loved, but especially that involving young people that he has not been able to know.
From the vast production of the extraordinary artist, Scanzi choose to dwell more on the Theatre-Song, from which it draws, for example, “When fashion is fashion”, “Someone was communist,” “If I were God,” etc. .., analyzing, almost to “lecture theater” Italian intellectual figures.
Stage presence, facial expression, the prophetic clarity, taste anarchist for provocation and courage (sometimes brutal) to “throw something there”, having anticipated so dramatically the time, make the thought of Gaber-Luporini today more than ever, a topical reference to personalities from politics, entertainment, culture, our everyday social.
The Foundation Gaber is happy with the proposal and the success of this meeting-show, certain as to help keep alive the consciousness, shaking, and expanding the great message to new generations.
