FESTIVAL CUCCURUSCOTTUS 2012 – CAGLIARI – STAMPACE – SUNDAY JULY 29

As is tradition back again this year the festival CUCCURUS Cottus 2012, in Stampace.

For two days in the month of July is celebrated in the district Stampace “the day of hotheads” (cuccuru cottu), just as they were called in the past Stampace for their stubbornness.

The festival comes to life around the church of San Michele, theater, cabaret and music enliven the streets of the neighborhood. Also, are distributed free of charge (on cumbiru) sheep meat, fish, malloreddus fregula Sardinian and other specialties offered by the Stampace.

Cuccurus Cottus Day is a celebration of the district, between the churches of San Michele, Santa Restituta and Ann, craft shops, the piole, trattorias.
