In occasione della giornata di Ferragosto I Centri d’arte Castello San Michele, Il Ghetto e Exma’ saranno aperti dalle ore 17 alle ore 21
Aperte al pubblico anche le Torri dell’Elefante e di San Pancrazio che potranno essere visitate, con orario continuato, dalle 10 alle ore 19.

Nel Castello San Michele è ancora possibile vedere la mostra Spazi, secondo appuntamento con la collezione di opere grafiche ArtCamù che nasce dall’idea di cogliere la forte relazione che c’è tra il Castello San Michele, il paesaggio e la città. Strutturata in undici sezioni tematiche, l’esposizione si snoda in un’affascinante successione di opere grafiche dove protagonisti sono gli alberi, le rocce, l’acqua, ma anche paesaggi notturni, di sfondo o urbani. Le curatrici Lidia Pacchiarotti e Carla Orrù (i testi critici sono di Efisio Carbone) hanno selezionato venti artisti che hanno usato, in maniera diversa, il paesaggio come soggetto autonomo delle loro opere: Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Francisco Goya, Edouard Manet, Ferdinand Hodler, Pablo Picasso, Carlo Carrà, Anselmo Bucci, Fernand Léger, Fortunato Depero, Salvador Dalì, Marc Chagall, Henry Moore, Alberto Giacometti, Ellsworth Kelly, Gianfranco Baruchello, Robert Rauschenberg, Luigi Veronesi e Robert Whitman. La mostra è arricchita da una articolata sezione didattica con laboratori per piccoli e adulti.

Il Ghetto ospita invece Quando l’idea incontra il gesto – arte e artigianato artistico in Sardegna, curata dalla storica dell’arte Simona Campus.  Esposte opere firmate da 27 nomi di spicco dell’arte isolana, protagonisti dell’artigianato artistico per tutto il ‘900, apprezzati fino ai giorni nostri. Le opere sono distribuite in tre sezioni tematiche dialoganti fra loro e riunite attorno alla figura e all’opera di Maria Lai. Allestimento del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari su progetto di Sabrina Cuccu.

Infine nell’Exmà è visitabile Ulcere nere, illustrazioni digitali di Andrea Pes.  Venti le opere esposte corredate da didascalie nelle quali l’artista descrive la genesi di ogni opera. Tredici delle opere sono singolari legate tra loro solo da uno stile infantile o minimalista. L’artista ha realizzato anche uno stile graficamente più raffinato, come quello rappresentato nelle sette opere della serie Nero Abbecedario Delle Nere Parole, un progetto in progress, tuttora in via di sviluppo, che prevede una parola per ogni lettera dell’alfabeto, al momento arrivato alla lettera “G” di “Golgota”, tutte arricchite da un disegno come sussidio.
Per ogni illustrazione è segnalato il QR-code che, utilizzando uno smart-phone, permette al visitatore di visualizzare il testo e l’illustrazione sul blog dell’artista ulcerenere.wordpress.com. Un’altra peculiarità della mostra è il tour al buio grazie al quale è possibile effettuare delle visite guidate in compagnia dall’artista stesso nel buio più totale, muniti solamente di una torcia elettrica.
La mostra è un percorso tra gli “scarti disgustati” delle persone, che l’artista ha ritenuto essere materiale interessante: il nero, la morte, la sofferenza, la malinconia, la tristezza, il ruvido, lo sporco, la cattiveria, l’originalità. La tecnica di Andrea Pes prende spunto dai fumetti, dai tatuaggi, dalla simbologia alchemica, ma anche dalla grafica, dalle miniature gotiche, dalla stampa ad incisione e dalla street art.On the occasion of the day of August Centres Art Castle of San Michele, The Ghetto and Exma ‘will be open from 17 hours to 21 hours

In the Castle of San Michele you can still see the exhibition spaces, second appointment with the collection of graphic works ArtCamù that comes from the idea to grasp the strong relationship that exists between the Castle of San Michele, the landscape and the city. Structured in eleven thematic sections, the exhibition unfolds in a fascinating series of graphic works where the protagonists are the trees, the rocks, the water, but also nocturnal landscapes, or urban background. The curators Lidia Pacchiarotti and Carla Orru (the critical texts are Ephisius Carbone) selected twenty artists who have, in different ways, the landscape as an autonomous subject of their works: Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Francisco Goya , Edouard Manet, Ferdinand Hodler, Pablo Picasso, Carlo Carra, Anselmo Bucci, Fernand Léger, Fortunato Depero, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, Henry Moore, Alberto Giacometti, Ellsworth Kelly, Gianfranco Baruchello, Robert Rauschenberg, Luigi Veronesi and Robert Whitman. The exhibition is enriched by an articulated section with educational workshops for children and adults.

The Ghetto houses instead When the idea meets the gesture – art and crafts in Sardinia, curated by art historian Simon Campus. Exhibited works signed by 27 prominent names in art island, all the protagonists of the artistic ‘900, popular to this day. The works are divided into three thematic sections dialoguing with each other and gathered around the figure and work of Mary Lai. Setting up the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari designed by Sabrina Cuccu.

Finally nell’Exmà is open Ulcers black, digital illustrations by Andrea Pes. Twenty works on display accompanied by captions in which the artist describes the genesis of each work. Thirteen of the works are singular linked to each other by only one child or minimalist style. The artist has also created a style more graphically refined, as embodied in the seven works from the series Black Black Words Of ABC book, a work in progress, still in the developing world, which provides a word for each letter of the alphabet, at the time arrived at the letter “G” of “Golgotha”, all enriched by a drawing as an aid.
For each illustration is reported that the QR-code, using a smart-phone, allows the visitor to view the text and the illustration on the blog of the artist ulcerenere.wordpress.com. Another special feature of the exhibition is the tour in the dark thanks to which you can make guided tours in the company by the artist himself in total darkness, armed only with a flashlight.
The exhibition is a journey through the “waste disgusted” of the people, which the artist considered to be interesting material: black, death, suffering, melancholy, sadness, rough, dirt, nastiness, l ‘ originality. The technique of Andrea Pes inspired by the comics, tattoos, the alchemical symbolism, but also from the graphic design, Gothic miniatures, from printing to engraving and street art.
