FAIMARATHON – CAGLIARI – SUNDAY OCTOBER 21

FAIMARATHON: the only marathon that takes place through the eyes sponsored by FAI – Italian Environmental Fund – The Lotto Game and in collaboration with the Municipality of Cagliari, will be held Sunday, October 21, 2012.

To participate in the FAIMARATHON not have to be sports but you must have the desire to be surprised by the beauty of our Italy and our city.

The FAIMARATHON is a cultural marathon, moving from the streets, squares and monuments in 70 Italian cities, created to highlight the beauty that we are not accustomed to observe: that of the places in which we live.

The initiative is part of a national campaign to raise funds FAI “Remember to save Italy”, aimed at protection of artistic and cultural heritage of our country. The stages of the marathon will be restored including several places with the proceeds of The Lotto, among them Italy in the Royal Palace of Naples, Norman – Swabian Castle of Bari, Palazzo Corsini in Rome, Cagliari the Basilica of Santa Croce, the complex of San Pancrazio, the church of St. Michael and the State Archives

At the start, paying a fee intended to support the activities of the FAI, you can enroll in the marathon, especially in the 10 cities of the wheels of the Lotto (Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice, Cagliari, Naples, Palermo, Bari, Genoa, Florence) will be enhanced by an initiative summed up in the slogan “I LOT for an Italy more beautiful. You ARE you doing?”.

The start of the marathon is scheduled for next Sunday, October 21 at 11:00. The proposed route in Cagliari, through the heart of our beautiful city with 11 stops in significant places in which the volunteers will welcome runners FAI attesting the passage.

All participants will receive a backpack weblog FAIMARATHON, a bib, a free admission ticket to the FAI PROPERTY, offered by THE GAME OF LOTTO the card to collect stamps to participate in the stages of the marathon and win the FAI scarf.

The marathon will be held in the event of adverse weather conditions. You have to check the website before departure that there have been no changes or changes in the program due to force majeure.
