EXCURSION TO SANTA GILLA LAGOON – CAGLIARI – SUNDAY NOVEMBER 4
Sunday, November 4 associations Aloe Felice and Environment Sardinia, organize an excursion for everyone and especially children, to the Santa Gilla Lagoon, a wetland, the largest and most important in Sardinia for the presence of pink flamingos.
The walk will take place on the small island Sa Illetta / San Simon, the rediscovery of the city of Santa Gilla Judicial and outside the church of San Simon, the Court Ballet farm then you will go to the pool of Capoterra and Life Nature walk the path where we will be witnesses, pink flamingos called “Sa people arrubia or Mangoni“ and the various species nesting: You tell the anecdotes, stories and legends of the people fishing pond. Including the Feast of St. Simon the Holy Blessing the lagoon, the typical local boat called “Cius“, the culture of the salt.
Will be made available to people with a professional telescope for spotting birds.
Meet at 10.00 at the train station (in front of Piazza Matteotti) to Cagliari. Departure at 10:15 - Arrival 12.30/13.00.
