EVENINGS WITH ART – BASILICA S.SATURNINO – CAGLIARI – FRIDAY OCTOBER 26
Friday, October 26, at 20.00, in the Basilica of San Saturnino, in Piazza San Cosimo, the show continues to Cagliari: Evenings artists. Meetings of music and literature. For the fourth event on the calendar, Gerardo Ferrara and Maurizio Serra, present “Hidden day” Storytelling for sound images freely inspired by the book by Ettore Cannas.
“Hidden in the day” is the journey of a man through two different worlds seem to be opposites. The show is the brainchild of Marco Alberto Desogus with word processing Gerardo Ferrara, landscapes visual and sound respectively by Giorgio Serra and Maurizio Serra, and directed by Stefano Melis. The journey told through images from the two interpreters, is accompanied by music, sounds and marine breaths of wind that emphasize contours.
In the Basilica, during the month of October, in a project to enhance the architectural space, were organized five events with a program that includes concerts, lectures and literary readings that can offer the people the use of the church in a more wide.
The event was promoted by the Superintendence for Architectural, Landscape, Historical, Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage for the provinces of Cagliari and Oristano, in collaboration with the publishing house Tiligù.
The Church will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9 to 13, excluding public holidays, including Monday 29 until next October 31, 2012.
