EUROPE, REGIONS AND HUMAN RIGHTS- ERASMUS SUMMER SCHOOL CAGLIARI 2012 – JULY 21 – AUGUST 4
From Saturday, July 21 until Friday, August 4, 2012 will be held in Cagliari, on the premises of the Faculty of Law, University of Cagliari, the first edition of Erasmus International School “Europe, Regions and Human Rights”.
The first International Summer School on Human Rights, based in Cagliari, was founded with funding from the European Union through the Erasmus program, and the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna and the participation of students and faculty from the University of Cagliari , coordinator of the project, the University of Glasgow, of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid and at Philipps Universität Marburg. Students will be involved in total 40, 10 for each of the participating locations.
The International Coordinator of the school is prof. Gianmario Demuro, Professor of Constitutional Law of the University of Cagliari.
School activities will be held in English for a period of fifteen days during which we will discuss Europe and multilevel governance rights through lectures and workshops.
Not only students but also their teachers will be involved in this “legal laboratory” where you will develop, in an international and at the same time attentive to the national dynamics, the study of human rights.
Special guests for the inauguration of the work of the school, which will be held July 21 at 11am in the Great Hall of the University Rector on a 40, will be Professor Marta Cartabia, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic and the Italian ambassador European Union to Albania, HE Ettore Sequi,
