Unito alla Sardegna da un profondo legame umano e artistico, Eugenio Finardi tiene il prossimo 15 dicembre un concerto di fratellanza e condivisione in piazza Roma a Carbonia, epicentro della crisi economica e sociale che sta colpendo gravemente le popolazioni del Sulcis.

Finardi si augura con questo evento di poter donare una giornata di festa e aggregazione, e di riaccendere riflettori dei media su una questione che è simbolo della crisi globale, che ha investito ormai inesorabilmente anche il nostro Paese.

Intanto anche il popolo del web si sta mobilitando per trasformare il concerto di Finardi in un flash-mob: dalla rete sta infatti partendo il passaparola per darsi appuntamento a Carbonia in tantissimi,  portando con sé orgogliosamente i colori e simboli della Sardegna.

Con il brano Nuovo Umanesimo, tratto dalla raccolta Sessanta, Finardi esprime con un urlo di delusione la disfatta dei sogni di una generazione, che il cantautore ha saputo interpretare senza filtri, dalle utopie degli anni ’70 alla crisi attuale. Un  testo esplicito e le sonorità dure sottolineano il tema del crollo dell’ultima ideologia rimasta, quel liberismo sfrenato che ha disgustosamente arricchito pochi oligarchi e drasticamente impoverito la gran parte dell’umanità, oltre che aver devastato il pianeta. “Solo rimettendo al centro delle attività sociali l’Uomo e non il denaro- sostiene Finardi -potremo finalmente conoscere e soddisfare i suoi veri bisogni e riappropriarci del nostro futuro.”

With the song New Humanism, taken from the collection sixties, Finardi expresses disappointment with a cry of defeat dreams of a generation, the singer was able to interpret without filters, the utopias of the 70s to the current crisis. An explicit text and sounds harsh emphasize the theme of the collapse of the last remaining ideology, that unbridled liberalism that has enriched a few oligarchs and disgustingly drastically depleted most of humanity, as well as having devastated the planet. “Just putting at the center of social activities the man and not the money-claims-Finardi we can finally understand and meet their real needs and reclaim our future.”
