Dal 21 sino al 24 Giugno 2014 ad Assemini, rivive la tradizione e la cultura Sarda con la tredicesima edizione del Festival Ethnos.

Il CIE (Centro Internazionale Ethnostudi) con Ethnos, ripropone il riconoscimento della propria identità culturale e popolare attraverso il confronto di tradizioni folkloriche tra canti e musiche della Sardegna, tradizioni locali e feste religiose dell’ isola.

L’appuntamento è Martedì 24 ore 19:30 per Ethnos in Praza e’ Ballus, questa piazza è nota per essere il luogo in cui la comunità Asseminese si riuniva a far festa nei propri momenti rituali, oggi Piazza San Pietro. Qui si incontreranno svariati tra gruppi folk e gruppi cavalieri con oltre 100 cavalieri, per dare inizio alla sfilata e processione per le vie cittadine, dove potrete ammirare gli abiti sardi della tradizione popolare in Festa!
Dalle ore 20:00 a completare la serata avverrà la premiazione del miglior gruppo folk e migliore coppia a cavallo.

Sabato 21 festa in onore di San Giovanni Battista protettore degli allevatori, in concomitanza con la Sagra della pecora.
Dal 21 al 22 sarà allestita la mostra degli abiti e manufatti dei rituali pagani presso la Sala museo arte etnica loc. Sa Serra ad Assemini.

Il Festival si propone di valorizzare le tradizioni popolari della nostra terra, tramandando gli eventi che legano e continuano a legare tra loro i membri di una stessa comunità e promuoverle in modo interessante e curioso anche in un ottica turistica.

The CIE (International Centre Ethnostudi) with Ethnos, proposes the recognition of their cultural identity through the comparison of popular and folk traditions of songs and music of Sardinia, local traditions and religious festivals of the ‘island.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 24 19:30 Ethnos in Praza and ‘Ballus, this place is known for being the place where the community Asseminese gathered to celebrate in their own ritual moments, today’s St. Peter’s Square. Here you will meet a variety of folk groups and groups with more than 100 knights knights, to begin the parade and procession through the streets, where you can admire the clothes Sardinian folk tradition in Festa!
From 20:00 to complete the evening will be the awarding of the best folk group and best couple on horseback.

Saturday 21 feast in honor of St. John the Baptist the patron of farmers, in conjunction with the Festival of the sheep.
From 21 to 22 will be an exhibition of the clothes and artifacts of pagan rituals at the Sala ethnic art museum loc. Sa Serra Assemini.

The Festival aims to promote the folk traditions of our land, handing the events that continue to bind and bind together members of the same community and promote them in an interesting and curious in an optical guide.
