Cari amici, il mese di Ottobre si chiuderà in bellezza con l’house concert di due bravissimi artisti e amici: Luca Faraone e Manuela Mameli.

Manuela Mameli, giovane cantante ogliastrina del Conservatorio Jazz, e Luca Faraone, chitarrista poco più che ventenne, si incontrano per la prima volta alla fine dell’Agosto 2012, poco più di un anno fa, in occasione di una serata che dovevano tenere al Bastione di Saint Remy. Il tempo di un’unica prova soltanto, non c’era niente di garantito, non si conoscevano neanche.
E invece sono subito scintille. Da quell’esibizione, è tutto un capirsi al volo, tutto un susseguirsi di emozioni che hanno incollato alle sedie dei più disparati locali di Cagliari un pubblico di affezionatissimi che stravede per loro. Per appena 6 mesi, che sembrano tantissimi, perché – musicalmente – i due è come se si conoscessero da sempre.
Manuela ha trovato in Luca il complice perfetto per le sue intense interpretazioni. Il repertorio non conta in questo Duo, ogni canzone, anche la più banale e commerciale, si trasforma in pura emozione. Ogni suono, ogni nota della chitarra acustica, ogni sussurro, è una sensazione selezionata e calibrata con cura, a volte per accarezzare, a volte per scuotere, e, anche le note che arrivano per caso diventano immediatamente lo spunto per sviluppi imprevisti che sorprendono non solo il pubblico, ma anche loro due stessi!
Da Febbraio Luca si è stabilito in Inghilterra, per importanti esperienze tra cui un tour in Costa d’Avorio come chitarrista di John Yalley, celebrità pluridecennale della musica ivoriana.
Ma ogni volta che torna a casa, ci tiene a suonare con Manuela e regalare nuove emozioni ai loro amici.
Grazie all’iniziativa dell’ Esu’s House Concert, per la prima volta avremo la gioia di sentire Manuela e Luca suonare in un contesto di assoluto silenzio. La loro musica, questa volta, sarà tutta per noi.
Un desiderio finalmente esaudito per chi li ha seguiti fino ad oggi, e un privilegio inedito per chi vuol togliersi la curiosità di sentirli per la prima volta. Non mancate!

Nato a Cagliari nel 1992, Luca Faraone ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra all’età di 4 anni e, prima ancora dell’ingresso alle scuole elementari, aveva già incominciato a produrre proprie composizioni musicali originali. È stato avviato allo studio della chitarra classica dal 2004, conseguendo il Compimento Medio presso il Conservatorio di Cagliari già l’anno successivo.
Fin da allora, ha preso pare alle più diverse Masterclass e seminari tenuti da grandissimi nomi della Musica ( John Williams, Massimo Moriconi, Pierluigi Corona, Giampaolo Bandini, Pietro Nobile, per citarne solo alcuni).
Ancora quattordicenne, aveva già tenuto le sue prime live session ma si era anche già inserito nel circuito dei concerti come strumentista a livello professionale.
Nel 2010 ha iniziato a collaborare stabilmente con diversi Studi in qualità di turnista, sia alle chitarre, sia al basso.
Fino ad oggi, ha tenuto più di 1000 concerti collaborando con 40 diversi gruppi.

Manuela Mameli, laureanda in canto jazz al Conservatorio di Cagliari, benché giovanissima ha all’attivo non soltanto più di dieci anni sui palchi di tutta la Sardegna, nei quali si è costantemente segnalata per la calda intensità delle sue interpretazioni, ma anche un’esperienza di diversi mesi in Svezia, durante la quale è stata anche selezionata da una radio di Los Angeles grazie ad alcuni video musicali girati a PiteÃ¥, suscitando l’interesse di una casa discografica tedesca per alcuni lavori in studio, tra i vari progetti discografici e concertistici che ha in cantiere e ai quali si sta dedicando. Apprezzata nel circuito dei locali cagliaritani da un pubblico che la segue ormai con molto affetto, ha partecipato al Jazz Expo ed è stata più volte ospitata e intervistata sui media locali, in particolare Radio Press, Radio Golfo Degli Angeli, Radio Level One, oltre ad una partecipazione alla trasmissione “Anninnora”di Sardegna Uno con un brano di sua composizione in dedica ad Andrea Parodi, scritto a due mani col chitarrista jazz e flamenco Flavio Secchi. Ha collaborato con numerosi musicisti affermati sulla scena locale, tra cui, ripetutamente, il compositore di fama internazionale Peter Waters, i pianisti e compositori Alessandro Di Liberto e Sandro Mura dei Sunflower Quartet di Francesca Corrias, la black voice inglese di Kevin Leo, con cui si è esibita in due concerti al Jambalaya Jazz Lounge, nonché con Paolo Nonnis, il batterista sardo che ha avuto successo negli States, col quale collabora in uno swing quintet stabile. È vocalist del progetto “Youjazz” sotto la direzione artistica del batterista cagliaritano Gianrico Manca.Nell’ambito della musica tradizionale sarda è protagonista, nella stagione in corso, di una tournée di spettacoli di pop etnico per le piazze di tutta l’isola, incentrati sulla sua inconfondibile vocalità e curati da Pino Montalbano, il “Manuela Mameli Concerto e Tradizione”.

Manuela Mameli, young singer ogliastrina Conservatory Jazz, and Luke Faraone , guitarist in his early twenties , meet for the first time at the end of August , 2012, a little over a year ago , on the occasion of an evening that had to keep the Bastion Saint Remy . The time of a single test only, there was nothing guaranteed , you do not even know .

Manuela found in Luke the perfect accomplice for his intense interpretations . Since February Luca has settled in England, to important experiences including a tour in Ivory Coast as guitarist John Yalley , celebrities decades of music in Ivory Coast.
But every time he comes home , he wants to play with Manuela and give new emotions to their friends.

Born in Cagliari in 1992 , Luke Faraone began playing guitar at the age of 4 years , and before entering elementary school , he had already begun to produce their own original musical compositions . You have started the study of classical guitar since 2004 , achieving Consummation Middle at the Conservatory of Cagliari in the following year .
Since then, he has apparently taken to different masterclasses and seminars held by the biggest names in the Music ( John Williams, Massimo Moriconi , Pierluigi Corona, Giampaolo Bandini , Peter Noble , to name just a few).
Yet fourteen , he had already held its first live session but it was also already in the concert circuit as an instrumentalist at a professional level .
