ESCURSIONE NEI SENTIERI DELL’OSSIDIANA ( PAU)
I sentieri dell’ossidiana ci conducono nel versante di Pau del Monte Arci, nei luoghi in cui i nostri lontani progenitori estraevano e lavoravano questo prezioso e bellissimo materiale, indispensabile per la preparazione di utensili di vario tipo e apprezzata merce di scambio.
Cammineremo sui resti del giacimento, tra frammenti più o meno grandi di ossidiana.
I sentieri sono immersi in un bel bosco in cui non mancano i segni di presenza dei selvatici e quelli delle meno antiche attività umane.
Percorso: circa 8 Km
Dislivello in salita: circa 300
Tempo di percorrenza: circa 4 ore
Il percorso è adatto anche ai bambini.
Appuntamento parcheggio del Cimitero di Monserrato ore 08:30.
Auto propria, scarpe da trekking, pranzo al sacco.
Costo: € 15 a persona.

HIKING TRAILS IN obsidian (PAU)
The paths lead us into obsidian side of Pau del Monte Arci, in the places where our distant ancestors mined and worked in this beautiful and precious material, which is essential for the preparation of various types of tools and valued commodity.
We will walk on the ruins of the reservoir, between smaller and larger fragments of obsidian.
The trails are surrounded by a beautiful forest where there are plenty of signs of the presence of the wild and those of the less ancient human activities.
Path: about 8 km
Elevation gain: 300
Journey time: about 4 hours
The course is also suitable for children.
Appointment of parking Cemetery Montserrat 08:30.
Own car, hiking shoes, packed lunch.
