L’escursione a Gorropu è uno degli itinerari più interessanti e spettacolari dell’intero Supramonte.

Per l’escursione di mercoledì 27 Agosto il ritrovo è a Posada in piazza Coghe Fae (di fronte ai murales) alle 7:45 del mattino, passiamo a La Caletta alle 8:00 nella rotonda di fronte al porto e a Siniscola di fronte al cimitero alle 8:15. Con le nostre macchine si parte verso la vallata di Oddoene dove parcheggeremo i nostri mezzi nei pressi del ponte de S’Abba Arva.

Intorno alle 9 inizieremo la nostra passeggiata che ci condurrà in meno di 2 ore all’ingresso del canyon Gorroppu. Il sentiero sterrato, che a tratti costeggia il Rio Flumineddu, passa attraverso rigogliosi boschi, dove troveremo un paio di fontane, dove il bosco si dirada saremo sempre circondati dalla ricca vegetazione formata da Oleandri, Ontani, Corbezzoli, Lentischi e diverse piante aromatiche tra i quali la lavanda selvatica.

Il paesaggio è unico, il Rio Flumineddu insieme ai movimenti tettonici ha creato un paesaggio spettacolare dove ci troviamo di fronte a pareti che raggiungono circa i 500 metri di altezza. Il percorso all’interno del canyon è lungo circa 1,5 km, è segnato con 3 diversi colori in base ai gradi di difficoltà: il primo tratto verde è abbastanza semplice, dopodichè il giallo di difficoltà media, per finire col rosso, riservato alle persone più esperte.

Una volta usciti dal canyon, consumeremo il nostro pranzo al sacco, composto da pane, formaggi, salumi, frutta e verdura di stagione biologica e locale, accompagnata da dell’ottimo cannonau delle nostre vigne.

Avremo la possibilità di rinfrescarci con un salutare bagno fresco nelle piscinette naturali formate dal fiume, per poi rientrare percorrendo lo stesso percorso fino a raggiungere il parcheggio dove dopo esserci bevuti un altro bicchierino faremo rientro soddisfatti della piacevole escursione fatta!

Difficulty: Easy-Medium route for all persons without mobility difficulties

The excursion to Gorropu is one of the most interesting routes and spectacular of the entire Supramonte.

For the excursion of the meeting is Wednesday, August 27 at Posada in square Coghe Fae (in front of the mural) at 7:45 in the morning, we turn to The Cove at 8:00 in the roundabout in front of the harbor and Siniscola in front of the cemetery at 8:15. With our machines we start towards the valley of Oddoene where our vehicles will park near the bridge de S’Abba Arva.

Around 9 am we will begin our walk that will lead us in less than 2 hours at the entrance of the canyon Gorroppu. The dirt trail, which stretches along the Rio Flumineddu, passing through lush woods, where we will find a couple of fountains, where the forest thins we will always be surrounded by rich vegetation formed by Oleander, Alders, strawberry, Lentischi and various aromatic plants between such as wild lavender.

The landscape is unique, the Flumineddu together with tectonic movements have created a spectacular landscape where we are faced with walls that reach about 500 feet tall. The path inside the canyon is about 1.5 km long, is marked with 3 different colors based on the degree of difficulty: the first part is quite simple green, then the yellow of medium difficulty, and ending with red, reserved for more experienced people.

Once out of the canyon, consume our packed lunch, consisting of bread, cheese, cold meats, fruit and vegetables in season, local and organic, accompanied by excellent cannonau of our vineyards.

We will have the opportunity to freshen up with a healthy fresh bath in the natural wading pools formed by the river, and then return along the same path until you reach the parking lot where after having drunk another drink we will return satisfied with the pleasant excursion done!
