DOMENICA 13/01/2013: ESCURSIONE A MONTE GENIS
Il monte Genis è un massiccio granitico ricco di acque, situato in territorio di Villasalto. Il percorso parte ai piedi del rilievo, dove domina un paesaggio fortemente modificato dalle attività umane e si addentra in un ambiente inaspettamente selvaggio.
La nostra escursione si svolgerà all’interno di un’Oasi di protezione faunistica che ospita una colonia di Mufloni, reintrodotti nel 1987 ed ora ampiamente diffusi nel territorio.
Appuntamento ore 08:15 parcheggio cimitero di Monserrato. Auto propria.

Occorre attrezzarsi con scarponi da trekking, pranzo al sacco e acqua da bere.

Sunday, 13/01/2013: EXCURSION TO MOUNT GENIS
Mount Genis is a granite massif rich in water, located in the territory of Villasalto. The route starts at the foot of the hill, where it dominates a landscape heavily modified by human activities and enters a room unexpectedly, wild.
The excursion will take place within an oasis of wildlife protection that houses a colony of mouflon, reintroduced in 1987 and now widely used in the area.
Meeting at 08:15 parking cemetery of Montserrat. Own car.
Journey time: about 4 hours and 30 ‘
Distance: about 10 km
Difference in altitude: 400 m

It should equip themselves with hiking boots, lunch and water to drink.
