Bella montagna panoramica, erroneamente nominata nella carta IGM come M. Gennargentu, per la gente del posto è “la vetta rocciosa e tondeggiante dei mufloni”.

La vetta, di pietra calcarea chiara, da lontano sembra d’argento (forse per questo i topografi la chiamarono Gennargentu).

Dalla cima la vista è splendida: Potixeddu, Capo Pecora, M. Arcuentu a Nord, il Massiccio del Fluminese ad Est.

Durante il nostro percorso incontreremo vari ruderi minerari  della miniera di Candiazzus e del “cantiere Suecci” nonché ingressi di gallerie in sicurezza ed alcune visitabili.

Portatevi una torcia!

Beautiful mountain view, erroneously named in the paper as IGM M. Far too much for the locals is “the rocky summit of mouflon and round.”

The summit, light-colored limestone, from a distance looks silver (perhaps that surveyors called it Gennargentu).

From the top the view is beautiful: Potixeddu, Capo Pecora, M. Arcuentu to the north, the Massif Fluminese to the East

Along the way we meet various mining ruins of the mine Candiazzus and “yard Suecci” as well as entrances to tunnels in security and some visitors.

Bring a flashlight!

You need hiking boots.
