Molti conoscono la cascata di Sa Spendula a Villacidro, noi andremo a “curiosare” al di sopra. Visiteremo la diga che ne ha ridotto la portata e che ci permette di ammirarla solo se le piogge abbondanti la fanno tracimare. Percorreremo la gola del Rio Coxinas, che nelle stagioni piovose è movimentata da numerose cascatelle.

Saliremo sulla cima del monte a godere del panorama sulla piana del Campidano, sino alla penisola del Sinis.

Sarà emozionante procedere lungo la cresta in direzione dei fianchi di Punta Santu Miali da dove, sempre piogge permettendo, scendono rivoli e cascatelle.

Sono necessari gli scarponi da trekking.

Many know the cascade of Sa Spendula Villacidro, we’re going to “snoop” above. We will visit the dam that has reduced the scope and that allows us to admire only if the heavy rains make it overflow. Driving along the gorge of the Rio Coxinas, which in the rainy seasons is enlivened by numerous waterfalls.

We will climb on top of the mountain to enjoy the view over the plain of Campidano, until the Sinai Peninsula.

It will be exciting to proceed along the ridge in the direction of the sides of Punta Santu Miali from where, always rains permitting, down streams and waterfalls.

You need hiking boots.
