Monolithix è orgogliosa di presentare: ELECTRIC MOON (Germania – acid space rock).
Il trio capitanato dal “mastermind” della musica psichedelica europea Sula Bassana (al secolo David Schmidt) arriva in Sardegna per 3 date, nell’ambito del loro primo tour italiano, organizzato da Monolithix. Con loro sul palco della Cueva Rock ci saranno i Grandmother’ Safari e i Traktor.

band tedesca di acid rock e psichedelia, una delle realtà di spicco della scena europea di questi ultimi anni. Nati nel 2009, il gruppo è formato da Komet Lulu (Luzie Neudeck) al basso e voce, Sula Bassana (David Schmidt ) alla chitarra, effettistica, organo e Marcus Schnitzler alla batteria. Il gruppo suonerà in Sardegna alla Cueva Rock (Quartucciu, CA) venerdì 20 settembre , all’Aggabachela di Sassari sabato 21 e al Frames di Fordongianus (OR) domenica 22 settembre, nella suggestiva location delle Terme Romane. Gli Electric Moon arriveranno in Sardegna nell’ambito del loro primo tour italiano, organizzato dall’agenzia sarda Monolithix e che li vedrà di scena anche a Torino, Milano, Treviso, Brescia e Savona.
In poco più di 3 anni gli Electric Moon hanno prodotto una vastissima discografia, diversi album in studio, dischi live, split. Hanno partecipato ai più importanti festival europei, Roadburn Festival (NL), Duna Jam (IT), Yellowstock (BE), Kozfest (UK), Sulatron Nights (GER), Mudfest (NL), Kildemose Festival (DEN), Zytanien (GER), Rockt den See (GER), condividendo il palco con Vibravoid, Farflung, Hypnos 69, Motorpsycho, Colour Haze,Electric Orange, Zone Six, Ufomammut, The Machine e molti altri gruppi.
Sula Bassana è un personaggio molto noto nella scena stoner-psych europea: polistrumentista, ispirato dalle atmosfere dello space rock e del kraut-rock, esordisce nel 1986 come tastierista in un duo di musica elettronica, i Solaris. Prosegue la sua esperienza nella musica elettronica con i Twilight Network, mentre a metà degli anni ’90 diventa bassista nei Liquid Visions di Hans-Peter Ringholz, immergendosi nelle atmosfere settantine del rock psichedelico. Nel 1997 fonda i Zone Six con cui realizza cinque LP e svariate registrazioni di jam di pura improvvisazione space e kraut. Innumerevoli altri progetti si susseguono negli anni, e nel 2002 realizza il suo album solista “Dreamer”, da lui interamente composto, arrangiato, prodotto e registrato. Nel 2009 fonda gli Electric Moon assieme a Komet Lulu e Pablo Carnival (poi sostituito da Alex Orloff e ora da Marcus Schnitzler). Molto importante anche il ruolo di Sula Bassana come produttore: la sua Sulatron Records è una delle etichette più attive in Europa nell’ambito dello space rock, progressive, jam rock e varie sfaccettature della musica psichedelica che si rifà al suono dei 70es.

GRANDMOTHER’ SAFARI
cagliaritani, sono Daniele Arca (batteria), Omar Cappai (chitarra), Alessandro Colarossi (Tromba/synth), Mario Mereu (piano/synth) e Federico Mainardi (basso). Il gruppo nasce nel 2007 con l’intento di creare un’esperienza musicale sperimentale: fondendo vari generi componendo solide strutture strumentali, supportate da un equilibrio di armonia e ricerca melodica, le loro sonorità spaziano tra rock, psichedelia, prog ed atmosfere jazz.

TRAKTOR
nascono nel 2013 da una costola dei Super Oil 69, formazione hard-rock stoner cagliaritana. Marco Antagonosta alla chitarra, Ivano Caria al basso e Stefano Urraci alla batteria mettono su il progetto Traktor per creare un trio strumentale di rock psichedelico, con influenze doom e stoner.

ELECTRIC MOON
German band of acid rock and psychedelia, one of the leading figures of the European scene in recent years . Born in 2009, the group consists of Komet Lulu ( Luzie Neudeck ) on bass and vocals, Northern Gannet (David Schmidt) on guitar, special effects , organ and Marcus Schnitzler to the battery. The group will play in the Cave Rock Sardinia ( Quarryville, CA) Friday, September 20 , Saturday 21 all’Aggabachela of Sassari and the Frames of Fordingbridge (OR) Sunday, September 22 , in the picturesque location of the Roman Baths . The Electric Moon will arrive in Sardinia as part of their first Italian tour , organized by the agency that will see them and Sardinian Monolithix scene in Turin , Milan , Treviso , Brescia and Savona.

Northern Gannet is a very well-known in the scene psych stoner- European multi-instrumentalist , inspired by the atmosphere of the space rock and kraut -rock debut in 1986 as a keyboard player in a duo of electronic music , the Solaris . Continued his career in electronic music with the Twilight Network, while in the mid- 90s became bassist in Liquid Visions of Hans -Peter Ringholz , immersing himself in the atmospheres settantine of psychedelic rock . In 1997 he founded the Zone Six with which he made five LPs and several recordings of pure improvisation jam space and kraut . Countless other projects are followed over the years, and in 2002 released his solo album ” Dreamer ,” which he entirely composed, arranged , produced and recorded . GRANDMOTHER ‘ SAFARI
Cagliari are Daniel Arca ( drums), Omar Cappai (guitar ), Alessandro Colarossi ( Trumpet / synth ), Mario Mereu (piano / synth ) and Federico Mainardi (bass). The group was founded in 2007 with the intention of creating a musical experience experimental merging various genres solid composing instrumental structures , supported by a balance of harmony and melodic research , their sound ranging from rock , psychedelia, prog and jazz atmospheres .

TRAKTOR
born in 2013 as an offshoot of the 69 Super Oil , training hard-rock stoner Cagliari. Marco Antagonosta on guitar, bass and Stefano Caria Ivano Urraci put the battery on the project Traktor to create an instrumental trio of psychedelic rock with stoner and doom influences .
