Biografie Artisti

ForeFingers Up! (A new Balentia’s joint)

Un progetto che, a partire dall’esperienza ultradecennale dei Balentia, mette assieme rap, soul, funk, in una miscela esplosiva. La band è composta da Alessio e Andrea Mura ai microfoni, Carlo Biggio al basso, Andrea Schirru alle tastiere/piano e Alessandro Sedda alla batteria.

Signor Palomar

Il pop nella sua forma più imprevedibile e godibile. Canzoni che fanno a fette la realtà attorno e la raccontano. Con energia, ironia, potenza elettrica e delicatezza acustica. I Signor Palomar nascono alla fine de 2009 da un’idea di Cristiano Sanna Martini (Elora, Tancaruja), nel 2011 entrano in studio di registrazione e nel 2012 presentano il loro primo mini-album intitolato COMINCIA. Co-prodotto con Manuele Fusaroli (Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Zen Circus, Le luci della centrale elettrica, Bugo, Sikitikis e molti altri). Suono che guarda alla canzone d’autore italiana ma anche ad artisti come Radiohead, Buckley, Talking Heads e Massive Attack. La band ha suonato a Dromos, Eje e Rocce Rosse & Blues e condiviso il palco con Vinicio Capossela, Goran Bregovic, Transglobal Underground, Mulatu Astatke.

Nel 2013, con il loro nuovissimo spettacolo “The Flow”, The Cellophane Flowers presentano il loro nuovo album omonimo. Anticipati dal video del brano “Mary’s eyes” del 2012 (a cui seguiranno altri 2 video promozionali di altrettanti singoli) album e spettacolo confermano la collaborazione con il MuccaLab video/audio elaborazioni a cuì è affidata anche la produzione musicale. Con una line up completamente aggiornata ad arricchire il gruppo storico, The Cellophane Flowers vi invitano ad un viaggio emozionale di stampo puramente “British”, tra vecchie e nuove canzoni, in quel mix di generi che da dieci anni caratterizza la band cagliaritana.

Forefingers Up! (A new Balentia’s joint)

A project that, from the experience of over ten years Balentia, brings together rap, soul, funk, in an explosive mixture. The band consists of Alex and Andrea Mura, microphones and Charles Biggio on bass, Andrea Schirru on keyboards / piano and Alexander Seddon on drums.
