L’avventura teatrale di Marco Travaglio, dopo i fortunati Promemoria e Anestesia totale, continua anche nel 2013 con un nuovo importante spettacolo: E’ Stato la Mafia. Uno spettacolo per raccontare la storia della trattativa fra Stato e Mafia, avviata dallo Stato nel 1992 e proseguita fino ad oggi.

“La trattativa è il peccato originale della Seconda Repubblica. E senza verità e giustizia sulle stragi non ci possiamo definire un paese civile” – Salvatore Borsellino.

La presunta trattativa tra Governo italiana e Cosa nostra sarebbe stata una negoziazione avvenuta all’indomani della stagione delle bombe del ’92 e ’93 con lo scopo di giungere ad un accordo che avrebbe previsto la fine della stagione stragista in cambio di un’attenuazione delle misure detentive previste dall’articolo 41 bis e di molto altro. La trattativa è ancora oggetto di indagini giudiziarie ed è stata dichiarata reale nella motivazione della sentenza del processo a Francesco Tagliavia per le bombe del ’92 e ’93. Secondo tale sentenza l’iniziativa per la trattativa “fu assunta da rappresentanti dello Stato e non dagli uomini di mafia”. La trattativa quindi è vera, non è più presunta. La trattativa è certa, è avvenuta e non l’ha voluta la mafia ma lo Stato e negoziati fecero da sfondo alle stragi, condizionando la politica negli ultimi vent’anni. Una storia di patti inconfessabili, di segreti e ricatti che hanno dato vita alla Seconda Repubblica e continuano a inquinare la presunta Terza che sta per nascere con le elezioni del 2013. Com’è suo costume, il giornalista narra fatti drammatici in forma tragicomica, sottolineando gli aspetti grotteschi e ridicoli delle campagne di stampa negazioniste e giustificazioniste scatenate da giornali e tv soprattutto dopo l’intercettazione di telefonate fra l’ex ministro Mancino, il presidente Napolitano e il suo consigliere giuridico che subito si attivò per devitalizzare e/o aggiustare le indagini della Procura di Palermo. Le telefonate depositate dai magistrati e dunque pubbliche, anche se subito censurate dai grandi media, verranno lette e spiegate sul palco. Come nel precedente spettacolo “Anestesia totale”, Travaglio sarà accompagnato dalle musiche eseguite dal vivo da Valentino Corvino e sarà affiancato dall’attrice Isabella Ferrari, che leggerà brani di grandi politici e intellettuali sulla buona politica, quella che rifiuta ogni trattativa e compromesso con la malavita e il malaffare.

Uno spettacolo necessario per cercare di fare luce, di restituire agli italiani il diritto di sapere. Il “mostro” della storia italiana infatti si chiama verità. C’è un grumo grigio che la copre, un grumo di fango misto a sangue, quello delle stragi, degli omicidi politici, del terrorismo, delle mafie, delle collusioni fra potere, criminalità e affari. E’ il grumo grigio che nasconde la verità e ha reso la nostra democrazia una democrazia incompleta.

Travaglio sarà accompagnato dalle musiche eseguite dal vivo da Valentino Corvino e sarà affiancato da un attore, che leggerà brani di grandi politici e intellettuali sulla buona politica, quella che rifiuta ogni trattativa e compromesso con la malavita e il malaffare. La rappresentazione cerca di restituire agli italiani il diritto di sapere. Il “mostro” della storia italiana infatti si chiama verità.

The adventure play of Marco Travaglio, after the lucky Reminders and total anesthesia, continues in 2013 with a major new show: It ‘Mafia State. A show to tell the story of the negotiations between the State and the Mafia, launched by the State in 1992 and continued until today.
