Al Museo d’Arte Siamese “Stefano Cardu” mercoledì 17
luglio, alle ore 18.00, si terrà il percorso “Diario di un viaggio”, ispirato
alla vita avventurosa del collezionista cagliaritano Stefano Cardu, il quale,
vissuto nel Siam per oltre venti anni, alla fine dell’Ottocento riportò nella
sua città un immenso e prezioso tesoro, oggi esposto al Museo. Nelle sale
espositive si può ammirare una delle raccolte d’arte siamese tra le più importanti
d’Europa, oltre ad opere e oggetti provenienti dalla Cina, dall’India, dal
Giappone e dalla Malesia, tutti luoghi visitati dal Cardu durante il suo
lungo soggiorno nell’Estremo Oriente.
Nel corso del laboratorio i bambini saranno coinvolti nella ricostruzione
dell’itinerario percorso dal collezionista, mediante l’uso del computer e
di un facile programma, come il Power point, utile alla realizzazione di
un moderno diario di viaggio. Sarà l’occasione per scoprire, inoltre, una
citazione della mostra “Oggetti per passione. Il mondo femminile nell’arte
giapponese”, attualmente esposta al Palazzo di Città.

Target di riferimento: ragazzi dai 6 ai 13 anni.
Durata: 120 minuti.

the adventurous life of the collector Stefano Cardu Cagliari, who,
lived in Siam for over twenty years, at the end of the nineteenth century brought in
his city an immense and precious treasure, now on display at the Museum. in the halls
exhibition you can admire one of the Siamese art collections of the most important
of Europe, as well as works and objects from China, India,
Japan and Malaysia, all places visited by Cardu during his
long stay in the Far East.
During the workshop the children will be involved in reconstruction
the route traveled by the collector, through the use of computers and
an easy program, such as the Power point, useful to the realization of
a modern travelogue. It will be an opportunity to discover, moreover, a
quote of the exhibition “Toys for passion. The world of women in art
Japanese “, currently on display at City Hall.
