DAL 30 LUGLIO 2014 A CAGLIARI VA IN SCENA LA TURANDOT CON I GOOGLE GLASSAT CAGLIARI TURANDOT WITH GOOGLE GLASS

La Turandot in scena a Cagliari dal 30 luglio al 16 agosto sarà visualizzabile con la nuova tecnologia dei Google Glass.

Per l’occasione, grazie a un sistema sviluppato per i Google Glass da TSC Lab, partner del MediaLab dello stesso teatro, sarà possibile vedere l’opera dal punto di vista di chi la canta o di chi la segue da dietro le quinte.

Il pubblico potrà quindi collegarsi sui profili social del teatro, da casa o da un qualunque altro posto, per guardare live il materiale multimediale che i protagonisti condivideranno.

Il capolavoro pucciniano è in scena a Cagliari dal 27 giugno (senza Google Glass), sotto la direzione di Giampaolo Bisanti e la regia di Pier Francesco Maestrini. Scene e costumi portano la firma dell’artista sardo Pinuccio Sciola. In queste immagini, le foto di scena dell’allestimento

Ma cosa sono i Google Glass?
Sono occhiali dotati di un prisma sul lato destro, un sistema che mostra informazioni e notifiche direttamente sulle lenti. Come uno schermo smartphone, ma sempre a portata di vista.

Gli occhiali offrono informazioni stradali, aggiornamenti sui messaggi ricevuti, la ricerca Internet, la possibilità di chattare, la possibilità di ottenere informazioni aggiuntive su un monumento, un’opera d’arte, un luogo specifico. Insieme alla possibilità di scattare fotografie e girare video in prima persona. Sono tanti i dubbi e le critiche a riguardo: lo strumento consentirà la realizzazione di video e foto di persone con ogni probabilità ignare, poiché gli occhiali, in azione, sono meno evidenti di uno smartphone.

La risposta di Google è stata una lista ufficiale di cose da fare e da non fare con Glass. Regole per ora destinate ai partecipanti del progetto Explorer, la fase beta e di test degli occhiali. Eccole:

Cosa fare

Esplorare il mondo – Chatta con i tuoi amici, ottieni le indicazioni per raggiungere un nuovo ristorante fantastico, o ricevi aggiornamenti su quel volo in ritardo.

Sfruttare i comandi vocali di Glass – Glass ti permette di avere le mani libere per fare altre cose come giocare a golf, cucinare.

Chiedere il permesso – La fotocamera di Glass non è diversa da quella di un cellulare. Chiedi il permesso prima di scattare foto o girare video di altre persone.

Usare il blocca schermo – Il sistema di blocco dello schermo di Glass funziona come quello del tuo smartphone: protegge attraverso un codice il tuo dispositivo evitando che lo possa usare qualcun altro. Se perdi il tuo dispositivo o te lo rubano, puoi resettare a distanza Glass, rimuovendo tutte le tue informazioni dal dispositivo. Tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno è andare sulla pagina MyGlass dal tuo browser, o utilizzare l’applicazione di Glass sul tuo smartphone.

Cosa non fare

Glass-out – Glass è stato costruito per avere pillole di informazioni e brevi interazioni che ti consentono di tornare rapidamente a fare le cose che ti interessano.

Indossare Glass quando fai sport estremi – Glass è un aggeggio tecnologico, quindi usa il buonsenso.

Indossare Glass e immaginare di essere ignorato – Diciamocelo: qualcuno ti farà delle domande. Sii paziente e spiega che Glass ha molte cose in comune con uno smartphone (fotocamera, mappe, email, ecc.).

Fare lo scortese o il losco – Rispetta il prossimo. Se hanno domande su Glass non fare lo stizzito. Sii gentile, spiega che cosa fa Glass. Nei posti dove non è consentito utilizzare le fotocamere, la stessa regola varrà anche per Glass. But what are the Google Glass?

What not to do

Glass wear when you do extreme sports – Glass is a technological gadget, so use common sense.

Wear Glass and imagine being ignored – Let’s face it: someone will ask some questions. Be patient and explain that Glass has many things in common with a smartphone (camera, maps, email, etc..).

Do the rude or shady – Respect others. If you have questions about Glass do not be annoyed. Be polite, explain what makes Glass. In places where it is not permitted to use the cameras, the same rule applies for Glass. If you are asked to unplug your phone, turn off even Glass.
