In arrivo un carico di storie per tutta la famiglia sul grande schermo e sul palcoscenico del MoMoTI.  Dal 28 febbraio al 26 maggio ritorna al centro culturale de Is Mascareddas a Monserrato “Il Grande teatro dei Piccoli”. Come nella precedente edizione, la stagione numero nove ospitata nel cine-teatro in via 31 marzo 1943 n. 20 raddoppia: accanto agli spettacoli del sabato e della domenica alle 18 (con replica il lunedì per le scuole alle 10.30), è in programma una rassegna di film, in visione il venerdì (sempre alle 18).

Otto le piéce in cartellone, portate in scena dai marionettisti  di Quartu Sant’Elena Teatro Tages,  dai sassaresi Laborintus e dai padroni di casa, che debuttano con la nuova produzione “Oscar va in città” e chiudono la stagione con il “colossal” di pupazzi animati (sessanta figure in scena) “Giacomina e il popolo di legno”. Altrettanti i film scelti da Is Mascareddas, in gran parte lungometraggi d’animazione per una varietà di narrazioni fantastiche. Si spazia da quelle realizzate dal regista statunitense Steven Spielberg, alle invenzioni del grande maestro giapponese Hayao Miyazaki, fino alla poesia di un’eccellenza del cinema italiano come Luigi Comencini.

L’apertura della stagione – venerdì 28 febbraio – è arricchita da “un evento nell’evento”: l’inaugurazione, alle 17, nel foyer del MoMoTI della mostra permanente delle creazioni di Is Mascareddas: pupazzi, burattini e marionette realizzati dalla compagnia durante trentatre anni di vita consacrata al teatro d’animazione. L’esposizione – resa possibile attraverso la realizzazione di sette teche nell’ambito del progetto sostenuto dalla Fondazione CON IL SUD “MOMOTI: un teatro, un burattino e la città” – è una rassegna di personaggi storici della formazione di Monserrato. Tra gli altri compaiono il capocomico  Romano Cavolina (di “Fantasia musicale”, primo allestimento de Is Mascareddas, del 1980), Gustavo e Carmencita (dal varietà musicale “La cuccagna”, del 1987), Don Lolò e Zì Dima de La Giara (1986) e, naturalmente, il pupazzo di Giacomina (2007).

IL CARTELLONE DEI FILM

Si parte venerdì 28 febbraio con la visione de “Le avventure di Tintin – Il segreto dell’Unicorno” (USA / Nuova Zelanda 2011 ), di Steven Spielberg. Il film d’animazione, realizzato con la tecnica motion capture (la registrazione del movimento del corpo umano), è basato sulle avventure di Tintin, create dal fumettista belga Georges Remi, in arte Hergé.

Il 7 marzo è in cartellone, in omaggio ad uno dei burattini più conosciuti nel mondo, “Le avventure di Pinocchio”, capolavoro del 1972 firmato da uno dei padri della commedia italiana: Luigi Comencini.

Il 14 marzo spazio al cinema britannico con “Wallace & Gromit – La maledizione del coniglio mannaro”, di  Nick Park (2005). Il cartone animato e film d’animazione creato “a passo uno” (con una particolare cinepresa che impressiona un fotogramma alla volta), ha come protagonisti i personaggi in plastilina Wallace e il suo cane Gromit.

Il 21 marzo serata dedicata al maestro dell’animazione giapponese Hayao Miyazaki, con la visione de “Il mio vicino Totoro” (1988), storia ambientata a Tokyo negli anni cinquanta, che racconta l’indimenticabile estate vissuta dalle sorelle Satsuki e Mei, trasferitesi in città assieme al padre da un piccolo villaggio di campagna.

Il 28 marzo è in programma “Una serie di sfortunati eventi”, del regista statunitense e scrittore Lemony Snicket (2004). Il film racconta, in un’ambientazione stile Londra vittoriana, le avventure di un trio di fratelli dotati di particolari capacità: i fratelli Baudelaire.

Il 4 aprile è la volta di “WALL•E”, film del 2008, realizzato dalla Pixar in coproduzione con Walt Disney Pictures, diretto dallo statunitense Andrew Stanton. WALL•E è un robot, unico abitante della Terra, che a causa dell’eccessivo inquinamento del pianeta costringe gli umani ad abbandonarlo. Ma l’incontro con un robot femmina di nome EVE (o E.V.E.) cambierà il suo destino e quello dell’umanità.

L’11 Aprile serata con “L’illusionista”, di Sylvain Chomet (2010 ). Il film d’animazione – quasi senza parole e con un accompagnamento musicale – è basato su una sceneggiatura inedita scritta nel 1956 dal mimo, attore e regista francese Jacques Tati e racconta le avventure di un anziano illusionista.

Chiude, il 18 Aprile, il ciclo di appuntamenti con la settima arte  “La volpe e la bambina”, film realizzato nel 2007 dal regista e biologo francese Luc Jacquet, premio Oscar l’anno precedente per il documentario “La marcia dei pinguini”. Una natura mozzafiato (quella del Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo) e la tenera amicizia tra una bambina e una volpe sono le suggestioni del lungometraggio.

IL CARTELLONE DEGLI SPETTACOLI

Il compito di inaugurare il cartellone di spettacoli è affidato a Tonino Murru de Is Mascareddas, in scena, sabato 1° marzo e domenica (2 marzo) con “Anima e coru”, panoramica sul lavoro ultra trentennale di Is Mascareddas, firmata a sei mani dall’interprete con Donatella Pau e Cristiano Bandini. Lo spettacolo è in replica per le scuole lunedì 3 marzo.

Il 15 e 16 marzo (e il 17 marzo per le scuole) è la volta di Agostino Cacciabue e Rita Xaxa di Teatro Tages. I marionettisti di Quartu Sant’Elena presentano “Manovella Circus”. Lo spettacolo di burattini e marionette a filo, con musiche suonate da un organetto di Barberìa, è una variegata rassegna di personaggi, tra equilibristi, danzatori, musicisti e illusionisti.

Il 29 e 30 marzo (il 31 per le scuole) il sipario del MoMoTI si apre sui burattini animati da Tonino Murru e Donatella Pau de Is Mascareddas in “Chi ha paura della Mortadella?”. Lo spettacolo affronta con tratto delicato e poetico il tema della morte, uno dei soggetti più evitati nei discorsi tra adulto e bambino e simbolo nelle fiabe delle ansie infantili nel passaggio all’età adulta.

Il 5 e 6 aprile (il 7 per le scuole) è la volta di Fueddu e Gestu con “Bab’Orcu”, scritto e diretto da Giampietro Orrù e interpretato da Rossano Orrù e Nanni Melis.  La piéce di teatro d’attore con maschere, giochi d’ombra e musiche dal vivo scritte ed eseguite da Ottavio Farci e Veronica Maccioni è una favola che prende in prestito la struttura narrativa dei “contos” appartenenti alla tradizione orale sarda, raccolti dalla compagnia di Villasor dalla viva voce degli anziani e riproposti in forma bilingue (sardo-italiano).

Il 12 e 13 aprile (e il 15 per le scuole) è il momento dei pupazzi e delle narrazioni di Donatella Pau de Is Mascareddas, nello spettacolo “Filò”. La piéce è basata su tre favole di tradizione germanica pubblicate dai fratelli Grimm: “Rosaspina”, “Le tre filatrici” e “Tremotino”. La scrittura drammaturgica è di Betti Pau e Donatella Pau.

Il 3 e 4 maggio (e il 5 per le scuole) spazio alla compagnia sassarese Laborintus, in scena con lo spettacolo “Contapasticciastrimpella”. Nello spettacolo un’attrice (Mariantonietta Azzu), un disegnatore (Peppino Anfossi) e due musicisti (i clarinettisti Angelo Vargiu e Silvia Puggioni) intrecciano immagini, suoni e narrazione per svegliare la fantasia degli spettatori grandi e piccini e rivivere con loro quattro fiabe tradizionali.

Il 17 e 18 maggio (e il 19 per le scuole) debutto per Is Mascareddas con “Oscar va in città”, spettacolo di burattini sul tema dell’educazione stradale, interpretato da Tonino Murru. Nata in occasione del Progetto Oscar (elaborato dal Comune di Monserrato nell’ambito del Terzo Programma Annuale di attuazione del Piano Nazionale per la Sicurezza Stradale) la piéce è una serie di esilaranti sketch, il cui protagonista è Oscar, un bambinetto di campagna di soli 9 anni, che si reca in città per la prima volta per trovare gli zii, affrontando la strada con le sue sorprese e i suoi pericoli.

Il 24 e 25 maggio (e il 26 per le scuole) la chiusura del cartellone di spettacoli è con “Giacomina e il popolo di legno”, dei padroni di casa Is Mascareddas. La piéce, nata da un’idea di Donatella Pau, diretta dalla regista austriaca Karin Koller e interpretata, in un’animazione a tutto palco di pupazzi e marchingegni, da Tonino Murru, Donatella Pau e Mimmo Ferrari, è un omaggio a due personalità fondamentali nella cultura del Novecento in Sardegna: Eugenio Tavolara e Tosino Anfossi. Le musiche originali dello spettacolo sono di Gavino Murgia. Il disegno luci è ideato da Loïc François Hamelin.

THE PROGRAM OF FILMS

It starts Friday, February 28th with the vision of ” The Adventures of Tintin – The Secret of the Unicorn ” (USA / New Zealand 2011) , Steven Spielberg. The animated film , made with the technique of motion capture ( recording the movement of the human body ) , is based on the adventures of Tintin, created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi , aka Hergé .

On March 7, is on the bill , in tribute to one of the best known puppets in the world, “The Adventures of Pinocchio” , a masterpiece of 1972 signed by one of the fathers of Italian comedy : Luigi Comencini .

On March 14, British cinema space with “Wallace & Gromit – The Curse of the Were-Rabbit ,” Nick Park ( 2005). The cartoon and animated film created ” step one” ( with a special camera that impresses one frame at a time) , has as its protagonists the plasticine characters Wallace and his dog Gromit .

On March 21 evening dedicated to Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki, with the vision of ” My Neighbor Totoro ” (1988) , a story set in Tokyo in the fifties , which tells the unforgettable summer experienced by sisters Satsuki and Mei , who move in the city with his father from a small village in the countryside.

On March 28, is scheduled for ” A Series of Unfortunate Events ” , American director and writer Lemony Snicket (2004). The film tells , in a setting style Victorian London , the adventures of a trio of brothers with special skills : the Baudelaire siblings .

On April 4, it was the turn of ” WALL • E” , the 2008 film , produced by Pixar co-production with Walt Disney Pictures, directed by Andrew Stanton U.S. . WALL • E is a robot , the only inhabitant of the Earth, due to the excessive pollution of the planet compels humans to abandon it . But an encounter with a female robot named EVE (or EVE) will change his fate and that of humanity .

On April 11 evening with ” The Illusionist ,” Sylvain Chomet (2010). The animated film – almost without words and with a musical accompaniment – is based on an unpublished screenplay written in 1956 by the mime, French actor and director Jacques Tati and chronicles the adventures of an old illusionist.

THE PROGRAM OF THE SHOWS

On 29 and 30 March ( 31 schools) of Momoti the curtain opens on puppets animated by Tonino Murru and Donatella de Pau Is Mascareddas in “Who’s Afraid of Baloney ? ” . The show tackles suddenly delicate and poetic theme of death, one of the most avoided subjects in the discourses between adult and child and symbol in the fairy tales of childhood anxiety in the transition to adulthood.

On 5 and 6 April ( 7 schools) is the time of Fueddu and Gestu with ” Bab’Orcu ,” written and directed by and starring Rossano Giampietro Orru Orru and Nanni Melis . The play by the theater as an actor with masks, shadow plays and live music written and performed by Ottavio Let us Maccioni and Veronica is a fairy tale that borrows the narrative structure of ” contos ” belonging to the oral tradition of Sardinia, collected by the company Villasor from the voice of the elderly and re-presented in bilingual form ( Sardinian- Italian ) .

On 12 and 13 April ( and 15 schools ) is the time of the puppets and the narratives of Donatella de Pau Is Mascareddas , in the show ” Filo ” . The piéce is based on three tales published by the Brothers Grimm Germanic tradition : ” Sleeping Beauty “, ” The three spinners ” and ” Rumpelstiltskin .” The dramatic writing is Betti and Donatella Pau Pau.

On May 3 and 4 ( and 5 for schools) space to the company Laborintus Sassari , on stage with the play ” Contapasticciastrimpella .” In the show, actress ( Mariantonietta Azzu ) , a designer ( Peppino Anfossi ) and two musicians ( clarinetists Angel and Silvia Vargas Puggioni ) interlaced images, sounds and narration to awaken the imagination of viewers young and old and relive with their four traditional fairy tales .

On May 17 and 18 ( and 19 for schools) Is Mascareddas debut with ” Oscar Goes to Town ,” a puppet show on the theme of road , played by Tonino Murru . Born at the Oscars Project (developed by the City of Montserrat in the Third Annual Programme for implementation of the National Plan for Road Safety ) the piéce is a series of hilarious sketch , whose protagonist is Oscar , a little boy country of only 9 years old, who goes to the city for the first time to find his aunt and uncle , facing the street with its surprises and its dangers .

On May 24 and 25 ( and 26 schools ) the closure of the program of shows is with ” Jacqueline and the people of wood ,” Is Mascareddas hosts . The piéce , the brainchild of Donatella Pau , directed by Austrian director Karin Koller and interpreted in all animate puppets and stage gimmicks , Tonino Murru , Donatella Pau Ferrari and Mimmo , is a tribute to two fundamental personality in twentieth-century culture in Sardinia: Eugenio Tavolara and Tosino Anfossi . The original music of the show are Gavino Murgia . The lighting design was created by Loïc Francois Hamelin .
