DAL 2015 LA TUBE DI LONDRA SARA’ APERTA TUTTA LA NOTTE SINCE 2015 THE LONDON TUBE OPEN ALL NIGHT

Dal 2015 la Tube di Londra rimarrà aperta tutta la notte.

Le linee che rimarranno completamente funzionanti il venerdì e il sabato notte saranno la Piccadilly, Victoria, Central e Jubilee, mentre la Northern Line rimarrà aperta nelle sue stazioni principali. In futuro London Undergorund non esclude di estendere l’apertura di notte anche ad altre linee, mentre da subito la rete notturna sarà integrata con quella degli autobus.

Non è l’unica novità: tra poco più di un anno, infatti, spariranno quasi tutte le biglietterie presenti nelle stazioni, rimpiazzate dalle macchinette self service.  Ben 750 addetti alle biglietterie verranno quindi spostati ad altre mansioni.

Questi piani, aumenteranno la mobilita’ notturna delle persone (soprattutto giovani) avvicinando la tube Londinese alla rivale subway di New York.

Non finisce qui, tra le novità figurano anche copertura wi-fi in tutte le stazioni metropolitane, accesso per disabili in ulteriori 27 stazioni, possibilità di pagare il biglietto direttamente con la carta di credito e nuovi treni.Since 2015, the London Tube will be open all night.
