domenica 25 maggio 2014, al teatro delle Saline di Cagliari, (ore 21), quarto appuntamento per “1 Euro Festival” con la musica, il cabaret, l’ironia e la comicità di “Corocò”, surreale rievocazione del teatro e del cinema degli anni Cinquanta.

C’è stato un momento, nella vita del teatro italiano del dopoguerra, all’incirca fra il Cinquanta e il Cinquantacinque, in cui pareva che un gruppo di giovani artisti, dotati di una buona dose di irregolarità e di ricerca, volesse, non proprio mettere a soqquadro la routine tradizionale delle rappresentazioni classiche, naturalistiche o sentimentali, ma almeno proporre alcune nuove ipotesi di lavoro.

L’attore non più professionalmente riguardoso della carriera, ma spregiudicatamente impegnato in vari tipi di spettacolo, volutamente insoliti, dai più giudicati “minori”. L’autore non più rivolto a dar tradizionale tensione a una vicenda, ed infine il regista, non più addestrato a misurarsi con infiniti oggetti di scena, e con criteri interpretativi d’uso o di assimilazione, ma con un paio di elementi soltanto e con liberissime e spericolate esperienze.

Tutte queste ipotesi di lavoro hanno attraversato i pensieri della compagnia, nell’affrontare la drammaturgia e la regia dello spettacolo, che vuole essere un omaggio al teatro degli anni Cinquanta, all’arte di Franca e Valeria Valeri, Paolo Poli, Giancarlo Cobelli, ma anche a quel tipo di cinema interpretato dalla grande Anna Magnani, dalla sofisticata Mariangela Melato e dalla indimenticabile (dimenticata?) Mariagrazia Buccella, cui lo spettacolo è dedicato.

Ed ecco che scatenate attrici, ballando e cantando in un crescendo da cabaret e varietà, annunciano che, nonostante siano costrette a far “teatro povero”, riescono comunque a mettere in scena il “loro” spettacolo. Tre maschere da commedia dell’arte che, estraniandosi, rivelano come il teatro sia soprattutto un grosso atto d’amore, “che entra nel sangue come un sottil veleno…” per non abbandonarci mai.

There was a time in the life of the Italian theater of the postwar period , roughly between the fifties and the fifty-five , in which it seemed that a group of young artists, with a good dose of irregularities and research , you would not really to mess up the routine of traditional classical performances , nature or sentimental , but at least propose some new working hypothesis .

The actor no longer professionally considerate of his career, but unscrupulously engaged in various types of performances , deliberately unusual , judged by the most “minor” . The author is not aimed at giving more power to a traditional story , and finally the director , no longer trained to compete with countless props, and interpretive criteria with use of or assimilation , but with only a couple of items and very free and daring experiences.

All of these working hypotheses have been through the thoughts of the company, dealing with the drama and the director of the show, which is a tribute to the theater of the fifties, the art of Franca and Valeria Valeri , Paolo Poli , Giancarlo Cobelli , but also the kind of movie starring the great Anna Magnani , from the sophisticated and Mariangela Spalato unforgettable (forgotten?) Mariagrazia Buccella , where the show is dedicated.

And then unleashed actresses , dancing and singing in a crescendo cabaret and variety, have announced that despite being forced to make ” poor theater ” , still manage to stage “their” show. Three masks from the commedia dell’arte that , escaping , reveal how the theater is above all a big act of love , ” which enters the blood as a subtle poison … ” not to forsake us .
