CHESTNUT AND HAZELNUT FESTIVAL – ARITZO – 27 TO 28 OCTOBER

Everything is ready for the forty-second edition of the Festival of Chestnuts and Hazelnuts in Aritzo. The famous festival is a real exhibition of mountain products of Aritzo, always been known as the land of parks and chestnuts. The event takes place over two days, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October, with the distribution of chestnuts, cooked and offered to visitors, tasting new wines, hazelnuts and sweets. During the festival, it is possible to see exhibitions of typical local exhibitions of works of art, performances of traditional music and parade of folk groups in mask including Mamutzones Is the typical mask Aritzo. Also in these two days you can a guided tour among the chestnut trees of Geratzia.
