Il villaggio dei pescatori di Sant’Elia si prepara ad andare in scena. Il progetto “Piccolo Caos”, di cui oggi parte la fase attuativa, fare del quartiere la quinta per un melodramma in tre atti di Marinella Senatore.

Gli attori saranno gli abitanti di Sant’Elia, almeno un migliaio. Non comparse, ma protagonisti di “Piccolo caos-Sant’Elia viva!”, opera collettiva della film maker Marinella Senatore. Gli abitanti del quartiere – ma l’invito è esteso a tutta la città – saranno coinvolti in tutte le fasi della creazione, dall’adattamento del testo e della musica fino alla danza, l’illuminazione e le riprese.

Tempi velocissimi: oggi la chiamata pubblica agli abitanti del rione e a chi vuole stare davanti alle telecamere quando scatterà il ciak si gira. Poi ci sara la “prima” il 26 marzo al Teatro Massimo e la diffusione della versione radiofonica dell’opera. Le iscrizioni devono essere effettuate entro l’1 marzo. Poi si parte con i workshop gratuiti con corsi di formazione tenuti da professionisti locali. I primi casting sono già fissati per l’8 e il 9 marzo.

L’iniziativa è liberamente ispirata a un’esperienza portata avanti negli anni Ottanta a New York, nel South Bronx, da Tim Rollins e Kos. “Ci trasferiremo – ha detto Senatore – per un mese a Cagliari con la troupe. Ho pensato a una doppia valenza: una bella esperienza, ma anche una risposta a un’esigenza formativa su tematiche e materie che non si insegnano nelle scuole. Anche i casting, le prove faranno parte dell’opera finale: gli interessati potranno decidere che cosa fare e quanto tempo occupare. Sono sicura che questo tipo di esperienze rafforzano la nostra memoria collettiva e aiutano a convivere con persone che non si conoscevano.

Senza dimenticare le prospettive: molti sono partiti da esperienze come questa e ne hanno fatto un mestiere”. “Piccolo caos” inaugura il programma di residenze artistiche dei Musei civici promosso dal Comune di Cagliari ed è la seconda tappa del progetto Mondi possibili-reinventing the city.
