Si rinnova anche quest’anno l’appuntamento con l’attesa rassegna
in onore del pregiato vino Carignano del Sulcis: il calendario ci riserva
sei eventi in cui la magia di musica e spettacoli  interpretati da artisti internazionali
incontra le eccellenze dell’enogastronomia locale
per raccontare l’essenza di una terra unica e generosa ancora tutta da scoprire.

Il vino Carignano e la musica d’autore saranno protagonisti indiscussi della nuova edizione della manifestazione CARIGNANO MUSIC EXPERIENCE, rassegna che tra il 7 luglio il 25 agosto animerà le notti del Sulcis Iglesiente in una felice mescolanza di note, sapori e profumi. Nella suggestiva cornice offerta dalle Cantine aderenti all’Associazione Strada del Vino Carignano del Sulcis, da antichi borghi, siti minerari e rinomate piazze, andranno in scena spettacoli di musica accompagnati dall’intenso bouquet dei migliori vini carignano prodotti dalle cantine del territorio offerti in degustazione insieme ad un piatto della tradizione culinaria locale.

“Se il legame forte che unisce il nostro territorio al vino Carignano si è consolidato negli anni è merito anche e soprattutto della rassegna Carignano Music Experience” – afferma Marinella Grosso, Assessore al Turismo della Provincia di Carbonia Iglesias e Presidente dell’Associazione Strada del Vino Carignano del Sulcis. “Anche quest’anno – aggiunge l’Assessore – abbiamo voluto investire su questa imponente rassegna che negli anni è riuscita a contraddistinguerci a livello regionale e non solo, diventando il nostro fiore all’occhiello, il nostro biglietto da visita d’eccezione, l’ ambasciatore del Sulcis Iglesiente in Italia e nel mondo”.

Il Carignano è un vino che avvolge i sensi. Degustarlo abbinato ai migliori prodotti culinari autoctoni preparati e presentati da chef d’eccezione del panorama locale, significa assaporare il Sulcis Iglesiente e scoprire, nei sapori della cucina dal gusto deciso e nei profumi del vino dal bouquet intenso, il carattere della sua gente cordiale e determinata, generosa e ospitale.

La manifestazione in omaggio al principe dei rossi sardi è organizzata e promossa dall’Assessorato al Turismo della Provincia di Carbonia Iglesias e dall’Associazione Strada del Vino Carignano del Sulcis, in collaborazione con L’Associazione Anton Stadler, con le cinque cantine vitivinicole del Sulcis produttrici di Carignano: 6Mura, Calasetta, Mesa, Santadi, Sardus Pater, e con i Comuni di Calasetta, Santadi, Sant’Antioco, San Giovanni Suergiu e Sant’Anna Arresi. Sotto la direzione artistica del Maestro Fabio Furia, la rassegna propone un intenso programma che prevede sei importanti eventi dal 7 luglio al 25 agosto 2013: swing, jazz, taranta, fado e sonorità tra il classico e il contemporaneo ne esalteranno l’animo nascosto.  Un ricco calendario di appuntamenti, concerti e degustazioni per vivere un’esperienza che vi lascerà un segno intenso e coinvolgerà tutti i sensi.

Massimo Lopez accompagnato dalla formazione che lo segue da diverse stagioni, porta in scena il suo amore per lo swing. Un amore coltivato per lunghi anni e sbocciato poi grazie alla collaborazione con una delle più prestigiose big band italiane: la Jazz Company. Un concerto dedicato a grandi canzoni, arrangiate da Gabriele Comeglio per una formazione di sette elementi, con un particolare riguardo per un repertorio evergreen di grandi autori quali Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rogers & Hart, ma anche con divagazioni verso grandi nomi della canzone swing italiana quali Lelio Luttazzi e Nicola Arigliano.

Il Nuevo Tango Ensemble nasce nel 1999. Partendo da un’ammirazione profonda per la musica argentina, il trio ha costruito nel tempo una sua identità ben riconoscibile, in cui confluiscono la lezione del nuevo tango, una sensibilità melodica tutta italiana e una concezione autenticamente jazzistica della performance. La musica del grande compositore argentino Astor Piazzolla, che aveva sangue pugliese come i tre musicisti, è stata dunque assimilata, metabolizzata e distillata in una nuova sintesi, tra il tango nuevo e il jazz che i tre musicisti hanno sempre amato, tra la riconoscibile e orgogliosa italianità delle loro melodie e l’improvvisazione che fa di ogni loro concerto un evento irripetibile.

L’algherese Franca Masu è l’esponente più internazionale della lingua e della antica cultura catalana in Sardegna. Oltre alle sfumature jazzistiche miscelate alla caratteristica sonorità mediterranea del suo canto, la Masu mostra anche una speciale predilezione per il Fado e la musica iberica in generale, nella cui interpretazione si rivela una delle migliori in Italia. Accompagnata dal suo quintetto propone uno spettacolo che richiama le tradizioni della Sardegna con suggestioni mediterranee, superando talvolta gli stessi confini europei e sconfinando nella world music.

Canti e danze del Salento. I ritmi inebrianti della Pizzica tarantata. Interpreti ed autori delle musiche del film “Sangue Vivo” di Edoardo Winspeare. L’Officina Zoè sin dall’inizio (primi anni ’90) è stata parte attiva e forse autentico lievito, insieme a pochi altri, di quel movimento di riscoperta della più antica e travolgente forma di ritmo popolare che è la Pizzica-Pizzica. L’aspetto più interessante del loro lavoro è, oltre alla riproposizione, il innovamento del repertorio della Pizzica attraverso composizioni originali che rispettano lo spirito e a volte anche la lettera della tradizione.

Il divertimento è uno degli aspetti essenziali dei Filarmonici di Busseto, quattro musicisti virtuosi di formazione “seria” che non hanno perso tuttavia il piacere di “giocare” con la musica. Questo sodalizio musicale, il cui stile concertistico spicca per varietà di scelte e festosità di approccio, ci propone per l’occasione un repertorio d’eccezione, capace di coinvolgere il grande pubblico, dall’esperto, al semplice appassionato, allo spettatore ‘comune’. I Filarmonici di Busseto orchestreranno un ricco e generoso itinerario di pagine indimenticabili, in un viaggio tra capolavori: dal «Bolero» di Ravel alle colonne sonore di Nino Rota, ad alcuni dei tanghi più famosi di Piazzolla, dal Verdi dei «Vespri siciliani» al Gershwin di «Un americano» a Parigi.

Due universi sonori a confronto: il Jazz/World di Maurizio Camardi e le canzoni e la voce di Antonella Ruggiero si intrecciano in questo nuovo progetto live e discografico che li vede protagonisti. UniversiDiversi, appunto, che si incontrano, si scambiano stimoli ed energie, si confrontano e scontrano finendo per trovare una sintesi elegante, raffinata ma “popolare” allo stesso tempo.
Alcuni brani scritti appositamente da Camardi per la splendida voce di Antonella Ruggiero e altri del repertorio di Antonella danno vita a questo spettacolo, impreziosito dall’accompagnamento di grandi musicisti tra cui spicca il calore del sound del percussionista cubano Ernesttico, noto al grande pubblico per le collaborazioni con Jovanotti, Pino Daniele e Zucchero. Un viaggio nelle “musiche del mondo” che abbatte in continuazione le barriere tra i generi musicali.

The Nuevo Tango Ensemble was founded in 1999. Starting with a great admiration for the music of Argentina, the trio has built up over time a recognizable identity, into which the lessons of tango nuevo, a melodic sensibility all authentically Italian and a conception of jazz performance. The algherese Franca Masu is the exponent of the most international Catalan language and ancient culture in Sardinia. In addition to the nuances of jazz mixed with the characteristic Mediterranean sounds of her song, the Masu also shows a special predilection for the Fado and Iberian music in general, the interpretation of which proves to be one of the best in Italy. Accompanied by his quintet offers a show that recalls the traditions of Sardinia with Mediterranean influences, overcoming sometimes the same boundaries and encroaching into the European world music.

L’Officina Zoe ‘from the beginning (early 90s) has been an active and perhaps authentic yeast, along with a few others, the movement of rediscovery of the oldest and overwhelming form of popular rhythm that is the Pizzica-Pizzica. Two worlds of sound comparison: the Jazz / World Maurizio Camardi and the songs and the voice of Antonella Ruggiero intertwine in this new live project and record that sees them protagonists. UniversiDiversi, in fact, that you meet, exchange stimulation and energy, confront and collide eventually find a synthesis elegant, refined but “popular” at the same time.
Some of the songs written specifically for Camardi by the wonderful voice of Antonella Ruggiero and others in the repertoire of Antonella give life to this show, embellished from the accompaniment of great musicians among them the warmth of the sound of Cuban percussionist Ernesttico, known to the general public for collaborations with Chris Brown, Pino Daniele and sugar. A trip to the “world music” that breaks down the barriers between the time the musical genres.
