Will begin September 4 the path, continuing every Tuesday until December 2012, will Congia Andrea and Daniela Collu to retrace the path to beat his time by Zorro: the two artists will be challenged to a project, “Cloak and Sword – Laboratory between Word and Music “, which will invite those who will take part in a creative path around The Curse of Capistrano by Johnston McCulley, the novel from which it was born the myth of Zorro.

It is a shadow who rides for centuries between the pages of literature, black as ink that rod history: destined to make his fortune in the big and the small screen, Zorro is now returning to his presence filled the small space of the Theatre Club (Via Roma 257, Cagliari), and will do so accompanied by music and by the Word, that will come to life around him in the theater laboratory dedicated to this character.
The intent of Andrea and Daniela Congia Collu, creators of the project is indeed to combine word and music to tell the story of the masked exploring the dimensions of sound and orality. The sixteen meetings, which take place every Tuesday, will focus on reading aloud and the sound of this intense adventure novel, in order to implement a Reading Music, a drama that dealt with the synthesis route. So will the dialogue in the broadest sense the protagonist of this laboratory: a dialogue between musicians, between readers, between the old and new symbols in the time that you are resting on the mantle of Zorro, thus covered not only the fine dust of California, but also of the meanings of time to time there deposited along the different periods in which it is told him.
Approaching a figure from the past so intense enable you to explore the many meanings that this icon has changed over time, the messages that have been made vehicle, the symbols of which was loaded, then through a phase of creative reworking of the text and character you can then touch the button interweaving of meanings that have come to stratify this myth: the aim is not to limit themselves to being mere consumers of messages penned by others, but to become creators in person, and tell who has discovered new face behind the mask.

NB: The project includes a maximum of 20 participants, and a minimum number of 10: if you do not reach this minimum participation, will not be able to start the lab.
