Dopo l’improvviso ed imprevedibile forfait dei Litfiba per una indisposizione di Piero Pelù per il concerto di Capodanno a Castelsardo, delusi dai Dire Straits si punta ora sulla freschezza e sull’energia di Alessandra Amoroso per la grande serata di fine anno. In una della poche piazze, in tutta l’isola, dove si festeggia il San Silvestro con un concertone gratuito, il nome dei Litfiba era stato annunciato con enfasi a metà mese e faceva, facilmente, prevedere una serata di grande rock e un afflusso di pubblico senza precedenti. I problemi di salute di Piero Pelù hanno però causato l’annullamento della serata. L’annuncio, diffuso dallo stesso cantante, nel pomeriggio del giorno di Natale ha gelato le attese degli amministratori e dei fan che lo attendevano trepidanti. Alla delusione ha seguito l’illusione che i “sostituti”, si era fatto insistentemente il nome dei Dire Straits, fossero all’altezza, e oltre, dei rocker nazionali. I problemi burocratici e organizzativi, che, in un primo momento apparivano superabili, hanno lasciato il posto alla convinzione che far arrivare in città un gruppo incompleto avrebbe sminuito l’importanza dell’evento e alla fine, ieri mattina, si è firmato con Alessandra Amoroso, giovane talento uscito dalla scuola di Maria de Filippi.
La grintosa cantante pugliese salirà sul palco della nuova piazza del Centro Polifunzionale, fresca di collaudo e apertura al pubblico alla presenza del presidente Capellacci, reduce dai successi dell’Arena di Verona. La Amoroso è salita alla ribalta nel 2009 grazie alla partecipazione e alla vittoria dell’ottava edizione del talent show “Amici”. Ha replicato quest’anno il successo fra il pubblico televisivo rientrando in gara, come anche altri otto volti noti usciti dal talent, con una sfida articolata in diverse puntate da cui è uscita vincente ottenendo un concerto all’Arena di Verona che ha voluto condividere con Emma Marrone. La Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana certifica le sue vendite complessive per più di 780.000 copie, un biglietto da visita che le dà pieno titolo per salire sul palco che è stato di Francesco Renga, Max Gazzè, Max Pezzali, Tazenda, Marina Rei, Raf, Alex Britti, Negramaro, Gemelli Diversi, Dolcenera, Neffa, Paola Turci e Le Vibrazioni. La dodicesima edizione del Capodanno in piazza prenderà il via già dalle 22 con l’accensione di megaschermi con collegamenti e immagini televisive delle altre piazze sarde e nazionali. Allo scoccare del nuovo anno dalle terrazze del Castello dei Doria, prenderà il via uno spettacolo pirotecnico di grande prestigio. La ditta Teo Fireworks che quest’anno si occupa dei botti è infatti una delle artefici dei fuochi d’artificio che hanno inaugurato le Olimpiadi di Londra 2012. Un tappeto luci e colori prenderà vita dalla fortezza medievale al ritmo di una versione, in chiave tecno-music, dei Carmina Burana. Per tutti coloro che vorranno godere dell’evento sarà possibile lasciare l’auto nelle aree di sosta agli ingressi del comune e usufruire del servizio navetta. Chi arriva da Sassari potrà parcheggiare a Lu Bagnu, o al porto turistico, mentre chi arriva dalla Gallura potrà lasciare l’auto di fronte allo stadio comunale.
