Un recital che sposa i versi e i canti, che poeti e musicisti noti e meno noti hanno dedicato agli astri, al tempo, alla vita, con gli interventi di un astrofisico, che, con l’aiuto di proiezioni, racconta il rapporto dell’uomo con gli astri e l’universo, dalle origini ai nostri giorni. Alla fine dello spettacolo, condizioni meteo permettendo, il pubblico sarà guidato nell’osservazione del cielo al telescopio.

La ricerca accomuna gli artisti e gli scienziati. Con strumenti, visioni e punti di vista differenti, gli scienziati si pongono domande e non danno risposte che non possano verificare rigorosamente, gli artisti danno risposte all’anima o pongono domande che rimangono sospese oppure si frammentano in ulteriori dubbi.
Insieme in uno spettacolo, artisti e scienziati accarezzano curiosità e dubbi, mostrando l’immensità inarrivabile dell’universo e quella di artisti immortali. Forse le domande e le risposte, e i dubbi, non coincidono, ma lo stupore davanti a una fotografia del cielo e ai miliardi di galassie che circondano questa nostra mai abbastanza rispettata terra come una corona di diamanti e pietre preziosissime che la ornano, è lo stesso. Scienziati o artisti, uomini e donne, siamo ancora capaci di provare meraviglia, quando non una vera e propria sindrome di Stendhal, davanti alla Bellezza, che si tratti dell’universo, che ci fa sentire tanto piccoli, che si tratti di poesia, di musica, di arte, che ci fanno sentire tanto grandi. GISELLA VACCA
cantante di natura versatile, attrice di teatro e di cinema, regista teatrale, autrice, studia Canto da soprano con la Signora Lucia Cappellino e col M° Roberto Coviello, diplomandosi presso il Conservatorio Pier Luigi da Palestrina di Cagliari, dove consegue anche il diploma della Scuola di Didattica della Musica. Contemporaneamente si forma attraverso stages nazionali e internazionali diretti da importanti attori e registi, tra cui Elio de Capitani, Gabriele Vacis, Claudio Morganti, Remondi e Caporossi, Jean-Paul Denizon, Tapa Sudana e Theodoros Terzopoulos. Inizia l’attività di attrice con Il crogiuolo di Cagliari sotto la direzione di Luca Coppola e Mario Faticoni. È attrice, regista e autrice degli spettacoli allestiti per la stessa compagnia, e per il gruppo delle Maschere Nere, da lei fondato e diretto dal 1991 al 1997. Partecipa come attrice radiofonica a numerose trasmissioni per Radiotre Rai e Radio Rai International. Collabora come attrice e cantante-attrice con il Teatro di Sardegna, diretta dai registi Theodoros Terzopoulos, Guido de Monticelli e Giacomo Colli, e con la Cooperativa Sirio Sardegna Teatro, diretta da Marco Gagliardo. Recita in alcune produzioni cinematografiche dirette dai registi sardi Piero Sanna, (La destinazione) Enrico Pau (Jimmi della collina), Simone Contu (Treulababbu – Le ragioni dei bambini), Paolo Carboni (Preda), Marco Gallus (Fratelli). Collabora come narratrice col Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. In duo, soprattutto col pianista jazz Nicola Meloni e col chitarrista Roberto Rachel, è autrice e interprete di recitals che sposano canto e poesia, e che esplorano in chiave colta la musica e la poesia della Sardegna (Suoni di Sardegna), del Mondo Mediterraneo (Anda Jaleo e Lune Mediterranee) e del Sud del Mondo (Identità Negate e Se dai miei versi strappi le rose), per procedere, attualmente, verso una produzione che comprende creazioni originali (Che l’amore è tutto, Buongiorno Notte e Perduta da una cicogna stravagante). Svolge una propria ricerca focalizzata, da un lato, su tematiche legate alla Sardegna, all’universo di riti filtrato attraverso i ricordi d’infanzia e adolescenza, vissute ad Ovodda, piccolo paese della Barbagia, e dall’altro lato al teatro con forti motivazioni sociali, ricerca culminata con la messa in scena di alcuni spettacoli a carattere antropologico per il gruppo delle Maschere Nere, e di due spettacoli interpretati dai detenuti del carcere minorile sardo. Tra il 2006 e il 2007 vive un’intensa esperienza artistica in Catalogna, promuovendo i propri recitals e dirigendo per il Gall (Grup Actors del Lluçanès) Viatge a la Cala de la Lluna, traduzione e adattamento in lingua catalana di un suo testo originale. Dal 1992 lavora per Scuole, Comuni ed Enti di Formazione come conduttrice di laboratori di Teatro, Drammatizzazione, Musica e Canto; ha collaborato con il Conservatorio di Musica di Cagliari in qualità di insegnante nel corso di Propedeutica della Musica e come docente di Canto con la Scuola Civica di Musica di Cagliari e di Quartu S. Elena. Ha ideato e diretto il festival internazionale Terre Sorelle – l’Accoglienza si fa Musica e Poesia.

NICOLA MELONI
Musicista eclettico, aperto ad esperienze eterogenee, ha studiato pianoforte jazz presso il Conservatorio di Cagliari con Alessandro Di Liberto. È stato fondatore, chitarrista, tastierista e autore dei Misbelieving, progetto alternative metal da cui scaturisce, nel 2005, l’EP Dawn’s Silent Grace. Tra il 2006 e il 2009 è pianista dei Keltaloth, formazione guidata dall’organettista Ivan Pili, che propone una commistione tra musica celtica, influenze popolari irlandesi e world music. Nello stesso periodo partecipa alla fondazione del Trio Antagonista, divenuto in seguito Antagonista Quintet, con Marco Antagonista e Andrea Congia, gruppo dedito ad un rock psichedelico strumentale, concentrato soprattutto sull’attività teatrale. Durante la permanenza nel Quintet, porta in scena le opere rock Il Segugio, la Notte e l’Inferno Terrestre (di Andrea Congia) e L’Ultimo Mamuthone (di Gianluca Medas); di quest’ultima è coautore delle musiche di scena. Dal 2010 al 2012 collabora come turnista presso il Green Studio ed è tastierista in numerosi progetti live. Nel settembre del 2010 è chitarrista per la clinic di basso moderno tenuta a Cagliari da Daniele Bagni (Litfiba). Sempre nel 2010, fonda con i membri dei Misbelieving un nuovo progetto di musica originale, i Dedalus In Bloom, di cui è chitarrista, tastierista, arrangiatore e autore di tutte le musiche: una miscela di metal, progressive, musica elettronica, con influenze classiche e jazz. Nel 2011 compone e realizza la colonna sonora per il video Un Amore Corrisposto, di Marco Duò e Andrea Lotta. L’incontro con Gisella Vacca, con cui porta attualmente in scena i recitals Identità negate, Che l’amore è tutto e Buongiorno Notte, segna un’ulteriore esperienza tra le possibilità musicali insite nella teatralità e, più in particolare, nella commistione tra poesia, teatro e musica, intesa nella sua più vasta accezione per spaziare attraverso differenti stili. Vive a Torino dal 2012, dove studia pianoforte jazz presso il Conservatorio Verdi con Dado Moroni.

MANUEL FLORIS
Dopo il diploma al liceo scientifico, frequentato a Nuoro, si laurea in fisica con il massimo dei voti all’Università di Cagliari, con una tesi in astrofisica; affina poi le proprie competenze, frequentando la Scuola Nazionale di Astrofisica. Fino al 2012 è Ricercatore presso il gruppo Energie Rinnovabili del CRS4, dove ha ricoperto anche l’incarico di esperto di astrofisica per il progetto di divulgazione scientifica MOSKA (Mobile Organized Knowledge Access for Science). Dal 2012 è consulente sull’irraggiamento solare per varie società, tra cui Ottana Energia S.p.a e Energogreeen Renewables S. R. L.. Compie opera di divulgazione astrofisica in vari istituti superiori della Sardegna, dove spesso insegna anche fisica, matematica ed elettronica.

GIORGIA MASCIA
Intraprende giovanissima lo studio del flauto al Conservatorio di Cagliari, dove, attualmente, segue il corso accademico di Musica e Nuove Tecnologie. Frequenta diversi seminari legati all’attività musicale e a quella di regista del suono, tra cui una Master Class di Musica da Camera organizzata dal Conservatorio di Cagliari e il laboratorio Visualaudio, organizzato dall’Associazione Spazio Musica e tenuto da Jean Marc Montera. Per la stessa associazione, come flautista, ha collaborato in alcuni concerti con diversi ensambles di musica acustica e di live electronics. Per l’Associazione TiConZero, in collaborazione con il Conservatorio di Cagliari, ha partecipato al festival Polline, edizione 2014, con l’esecuzione in prima assoluta di una sua composizione originale per flauto e live electronics. Da oltre un anno collabora costantemente come regista del suono, agli spettacoli di Gisella Vacca.GOOD MORNING NIGHT

A recital that combines verses and songs, which poets and musicians known and unknown dedicated to the stars, at the time, to life, with assistance of an astrophysicist who, with the help of projections, said the man’s relationship with the stars and the universe, from its origins to the present day. At the end of the show, weather permitting, the public will be guided in observing the sky through a telescope.

GISELLA COW

NICOLA MELONI
An eclectic musician, open to a variety of experiences, he studied jazz piano at the Conservatory of Cagliari Alessandro Di Liberto. He was the founder, guitarist, keyboardist and author of Misbelieving, alternative metal project from which it springs, in 2005, the EP’s Silent Dawn Grace. MANUEL FLORIS

Giorgia Mascia

For the Association TiConZero, in collaboration with the Conservatory of Cagliari, has participated in the festival Pollen, edition, 2014, with the premiere performance of his original composition for flute and live electronics. For over a year regularly worked as a sound director, shows Gisella Vacca.
