Domenica 6 Aprile 2014_Goloritze e minicrociera nel Golfo di Orosei

Unico, selvaggio ed emozionante il Golfo di Orosei. Secondo la legge regionale è stato istituito Parco nel 1998 per preservare l’ambiente incontaminato ricco di specie animali e vegetali. La costa si estende per circa 40 Km ed è caratterizzata da imponenti bastioni calcarei ricoperti da boschi secolari di querce e ginepri e da una rigogliosa e variegata macchia mediterranea, una natura primigenia e incontaminata. Noi avremo la possibilità di ammirare questo spettacolo da terra con un’escursione a piedi fino a Cala Goloritze e poi a bordo di una comoda barca a motore. (trekking facoltativo). Superato il confine a sud con Capo Monte Santo, navigheremo lungo la costa per ammirare le cale, i faraglioni, i pinnacoli e le grotte che la natura ci regala. Ci troveremo improvvisamente con il naso all’insù a guardare stupiti un susseguirsi di monumenti naturali della Sardegna, 143 metri sul livello del mare è l’altezza del pinnacolo di Cala Golorizè, che visto dalla barca sembrano ancora di più! Marco la guida e Sergio, il pirata del Golfo, riusciranno ad avvicinare queste rocce bianche sul mare blu, ad insinuarsi nelle cale più selvagge e nascoste e con i loro racconti riusciranno a far rivivere in noi la magia di ere passate. Vi racconteremo di fiumi che modellano le montagne per arrivare al mare, di ginepri piegati dal vento, di saraceni che cercano approdi, di pisani che costruiscono torri, di pescatori che nascondono il pescato, delle grotte che davano dimora alle foche in un recente passato, dei cormorani affamati e di capre che rischiano la vita per leccare il sale essiccato sugli scogli. Vi sveleremo i segreti di un territorio aspro, di un mare a volte impetuoso e a volte docile, di un azzurro che non si può descrivere ma dove ci si può solo tuffare o rimanere ad ammirare. Il capitano e i suoi prodi ci conquisteranno con la loro simpatia e ci faranno scoprire come è più buono il pesce mangiato in barca all’ombra di una esclusiva caletta e ci sorprenderanno e vizieranno con un’ottima cucina marinara con contaminazioni ogliastrine. Che delizia il fritto di mare…!
Visiteremo la Grotta del Fico creata da un fiume che per milioni di anni ha modellato le viscere della terra lasciandoci le lunghe e contorte gallerie. Che emozione sarà vedere Cala Gabbiano, Cala Mariolu, Cala degli Innamorati e tante altre cale meno note ma altrettanto suggestive. E poi che bello riposarsi nelle calette nate dall’erosione di antiche grotte ora diventate piccoli sassolini (chiamati ooliti, che sono le perle delle numerosissime grotte).

We will visit the Grotta del Fico created by a river that for millions of years has shaped the bowels of the earth leaving the long and convoluted tunnels. What a thrill it will be to see Gabbiano Cala , Cala Mariolu , Cala Lovers’ and many other lesser-known but equally charming coves . And then rest in that beautiful coves born erosion of ancient caves now become small stones (called oolites , which are the pearls of the numerous caves) .
