BOOKCROSSING A CAGLIARI: ECCO COME FUNZIONABOOKCROSSING IN CAGLIARI: HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Il BookCrossing (dai termini in lingua inglese book, libro e crossing, attraversamento, passaggio, anche noto come BC, giralibri, liberalibri, Libri liberi, Libri in libertà) è un’iniziativa di distribuzione gratuita di libri che ruota intorno all’esistenza di un elenco di volumi tramite un codice identificativo unico, attraverso cui è possibile seguire la traversata del libro, e il suo incrociarsi con i lettori.

Materialmente consiste nella pratica di una serie di iniziative collaborative volontarie e completamente gratuite, di cui alcune anche organizzate a livello mondiale, che legano la passione per la lettura e per i libri alla passione per la condivisione delle risorse e dei saperi. L’idea di base è di rilasciare libri nell’ambiente naturale compreso quello urbano, o “into the wild”, ovvero dovunque si preferisca, affinché possano essere ritrovati e quindi letti da altri, che eventualmente possano commentarli e altrettanto eventualmente farli proseguire nel loro viaggio.

Ecco un breve vademecum per chi vuol utilizzare la stazione fissa di BookCrossing, presente 24 ore su 24 in via Stretta 37, a Castello.

1) LASCIARE UN LIBRO: puoi consegnare il libro ad uno dei soci della nostra associazione ma qualora trovassi la sede chiusa, puoi lasciarlo direttamente dentro la cassetta del BookCrossing, tra gli altri libri. Al momento dell’inventario settimanale, il tuo libro verrà registrato nel sito www.bookcrossing.com, etichettato con un codice BCID e riposto dentro la stazione. Puoi scrivere il tuo nome e cognome sulle prime pagine del libro, così lo registreremo a tuo nome. Entra nel sito, digita il codice BCID e segui a distanza il viaggio del tuo libro!

2) PRENDERE UN LIBRO: tutti i libri presenti nella cassetta del BookCrossing sono stati “liberati”. Puoi prendere il libro che ti interessa liberamente e quando avrai finito di leggerlo potrai riportarlo da noi oppure potrai rilasciarlo ovunque tu voglia… ma per aiutare gli altri lettori a trovarlo, entra nel sito www.bookcrossing.com, inserisci il suo BCID e lascia scritto dove lo hai liberato! Non interrompere il suo viaggio, tenendolo per sempre!

3) CHE LIBRI TROVERO’?: l’elenco dei libri registrati è consultabile qui http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/UC-Cagliari/all  Questa è la libreria dell’Urban Center Cagliari sul sito del BookCrossing.
I libri contrassegnati dall’etichetta VIAGG sono ora tra le mani di qualche lettore, quelli contrassegnati dall’etichetta DISP, sono invece tuttora disponibili.

At the time of the inventory weekly , your book will be registered in the website www.bookcrossing.com , labeled with a code BCID and placed inside the station . You can write your name on the front pages of the book, so we will record it in your name. Enter the site , type in the code BCID and follow the travel distance of your book !

2 ) TAKE A BOOK : all the books in the box BookCrossing have been ” liberated.” You can take the book that interests you freely and when you have finished reading you can return it to us or you can drop it anywhere you want … but to help other readers find it , enter the site www.bookcrossing.com , simply enter your BCID and leave written where you have released! Do not interrupt her trip , keeping it forever!
