Autore delle celebri compilation BLUE NOTE TRIP (oltre 300.000 copie vendute) e di numerosi altri album di successo Martijn Barkhuis, in arte Dj Maestro, ha all’attivo molteplici collaborazioni con le più importanti etichette internazionali del calibro della BLUE NOTE, VERVE, IMPULSE, Emarcy, Concord, Jazzland e UNIVERSAL RECORDS con la quale sta dando vita ad un nuovo progetto.

Rigorosamente affezionato al vinile ha viaggiato e portato la sua musica nelle principali città di tutto il mondo, Martijn è ospite abituale del NORTH SEA JAZZ Festival. Da anni è in onda ogni settimana su BNR radio, emittente nazionale Olandese, con un programma che si occupa di Jazz e dintorni, inoltre ha una sua web radio che trasmette 24h le sue ricercate selezioni (www.digthis.nl)
